gentle yet impactful footsteps, wise eyes and a solemn yet kind expression. jarl whinstone-dark is a hardworking dragon whose level and deep voice softly commands respect, and even after so many years serving her tribe she has not lost sight of her goals. even through the rumors and stares, she stays faithful to her beloved mate over many years. she raises her dragonets with the nurturing hand her late father showed her.
Appearance[]
steady like a mountain, with rough yet glossy black fur. shes ever so larger than even most mortarwings. strongly built, youthful looking yet wise. her wavy indigo-black mane is cut just above her eyes. and her eyes, teals and blues reflecting in the light, dark markings adorn the thinner fur of her face. small gold piercings, pink seashells tied to her curved antelope-like horns, and pearls tying the fur down her tail are her few daily accessories. for special occasions, she wears a webbing of pearls over wrapped around her horns and over her snout like a veil, as well as a manner of teal and blue silks with small gold embroidery. these patterns represent her family; daisies, storm clouds, foxes, running water and fennel flowers. her wings are feathered dark grey, blending seamlessly with her shiny dark charcoal pelt, an ombre of deep teal to prussian blue color the membrane. the clawtips of her wings match her grey horns and worn claws.

swift-fox is her oldest kid, looks a lot like her (dark fur, black mane, no tail fur, grey underbelly/exocranium, prussian blue eyes and wings, most mortarwing-y except 4 exocranium + tail)
crystal-brook is the middle childdd, inherited her parents' piebaldism and her grandfathers dark reddish brown roan fur. her exocranium is white as well as big patches of fur and wings.
bright-fennel is the youngest and most deathwing-y. mostly grey transparent scales with black fur on her forearms, back legs and tail like a poodle. (also a mane done up in bubble braids). dark grey exocranium red eyes and dark greyish teal wings with black feathers. small and thin like her dad.
so-far unnamed religious father (dark reddish brown roan fur with black mane and wings etc, fur greyed a lot towards the end of his life)
