It's quite amazing, that night. In the villa in Jewel hive, eating the delicacies, chatting with friends, and listening to music. The beautiful music. As the other performers quiet down, one continues, shifting onto a beautiful solo. After the performance is done, it's visible that the HiveWing had the scales of Violin colors. The HiveWing introduced himself to be Violin. Was he named after one?
"I am not named after a damn fiddle! I am named after the violin beetle! Get it right!"
His voice snaps as his calm demeanor changes. It's surprising and unsettling.
Violin is a 14 year old HiveWing who once preformed in all the hives, and dreams to preform all over both Pyrrhia and Pantala one day. He resides in the HiveWing kingdom, and his former residence was once what was known as Wasp hive.
his expression always lingers at an ignorant seeming form, but he much so pays attention to what others say. He prefers to maintain neutral opinions on things, and often doesn't get involved with serious topics. He's an ambivert, and enjoys company especially among other musicians. It's pretty hard to anger him, however everyone has a weak point...
Major supporters of his great aunt, Ex-queen Wasp, outrage him, but he's still able to keep his anger contained towards them. But what truly sets him off is when people assume that he was named after the instrument, a violin. He was named after the violin beetle and gets very set off when people assume otherwise.
Unless you set him off, he'd be happy to play a tune for anybody.
Appearance[]
Violin really resembles what people assume his namesake is; a violin.
His secondary scales are a deep, orange-ish red color, usually seen on violins. His primarily scales are a deep, pigmented walnut wood color, according to some dragons. Others compare it to dragon's blood mixed in with mud.
He has some scales that are the beige shade of the savannah dirt on his head. His lining scales are described to look like a fresh cup of coffee mixed with silky almond milk.
His wings are a light golden color.
His horns are black, along with his claws. Not only that, but his horns are rather short as opposed to the horns of other dragons.
He wears glasses with a chain attached to his ear, also stretching to his horn rings. They're made of brass, and fit quite well on him.

Positive[]
While this HiveWing may express an ignorant seeming face a majority of the time, he has a lot of emotion behind it. He's an ambivert, usually preferring alone time to himself at times, but it doesn't hurt to drink a nice mug of coffee along with a few other dragons every once in a while, does it?
He's confident, and his confidence is what got him to where he is. While learning to master his instrument, he ignored mistakes he made and kept moving on.
He's patient, especially with teaching other dragons. He doesn't rush it, and goes with the flow.
He's a quite responsible and organized dragon. He always seeks to improve. He notes down the advice of other dragons, and decides weather the advice is good enough to be taken or not.

He speaks in a generally formal manor, which can get onto the nerves of some when he's not at formal events.
Negative[]
He tends to be quite judgmental of other dragons, especially of their interests and music tastes, and worst of all, tribes. When he's judged and disliked something, he'll imply it through a certain form of wording which only feels more offensive. Example:
Disliking a type of music.
"That music type is... how should I put this... exotic"
He evaluates anything that dragons do. He comments on stuff trying to correct it quite often.

Horntail[]
Violin's grandfather, Horntail, was always absent from his life while his grandmother played a big role. Upon meeting Horntail, Violin was rather... disturbed. Horntail was far more optimistic than the usual HiveWing, and a bit too affectionate. Additionally, his grandfather's absence in his father's life has made him grow cold toward him.

Wasp[]
Violin, especially as a dragonet, spent a lot of time around Wasp, observing her actions, work and orders. He drew a lot of inspiration from his great aunt, aspiring to be like her one day; a menacing, influential and brave dragon. After Wasp's fall, Violin never stopped visiting her in the flamesilk caverns, often bringing her better food and talking about his day and his quite negative thoughts on the way the new world was. Wasp never particularly "loved" Violin but loved the praise he gave her. It gave her satisfaction, being able to mold a dragon with her influence as she wished.
Stag[]
Stag hatched very shortly before Wasp's era ended. Stag, on the contrary, spent a lot of time around Jewel. Her personality was a lot more free, less formal and contradictory to Violin. She acted a lot more as a dragonet... when was quite literally a dragonet, and it didn't please Violin much. The two bicker a lot and end up yelling and screaming at one another (Stag to Violin in particular). Violin thinks of stag as a useless dissapointment.
Open for friendship relationships. He's lonely, he needs friends :(
