It's difficult to throw a stone without hitting someone who hasn't at least heard of Victor! This dragon of no discernible tribe has touched the lives of so many residents in the world of Pyrrhia, and it's hard to overstate thons impact. In a way, Victor has become a dragon that belongs to every single tribe as they travel across the continents, documenting and sharing the stories of the people they encounter.

As of late, xe has been spotted in Pantala, reportedly on an expedition to map out the continent and support the voices of the dragons who haven't had the opportunity to have their stories told.

Victor uses they/them, thon/thons, it/its, and xe/xem pronouns.[use]

Appearance

Victor is a tall, limber, and salmon-colored dragon. Their body is lithe and their tail is thick, often dragging behind them. Their wingspan is broad, which helps keep them afloat during long flights. And it's not hard to notice that its wings are powerful to boot, with its muscular shoulders making its slender build come off as quite fit. Xyr horns are dull, and flimsy sail-like spines trail down xyr spine—these and xyr claws are a pale off-white color.

None of these traits really help anyone pin down what tribe's blood primarily flows through thons veins. Not that it bothers thon at all—and if asked, Victor will simply answer that they are an AllWing, a dragon descended from every Pyrrhian tribe.

Their primary scales are a pink-orange, with darker scales closer to their spine. Victor's kind eyes are a bright yellow-green, often framed behind a pair of glasses. Thons expression is usually soft and cheery, and a relaxed smile rests on thons face. There's a light dusting of freckles across their snout.

Every so often, Victor can be spotted in the most curious apparel. While rather unrecognizable to the dragons of Pyrrhia and Pantala, wikians can recognize them as a suit and bowtie.

Personality

While dragons tend to sing Victor's praises, it genuinely tries to stay humble. Victor is a lifelong learner with a fascination for the world around them. They'll quickly admit to mistakes they've made, and are ready to apologize and swiftly correct their behavior. It is always willing to listen to others and offer a talon if it can, lending an ear to the worries and concerns of dragons who seek it.

At first, Victor can be quiet and unassuming. It's almost shy around people that they don't know. They're curious and love to do their own research, so when a topic that thon is interested comes up, thon will rattle off every fact and tidbit they know about the subject. Xe has a tendency of talking off the ears of all who are willing to listen! It tries its best to be friendly and reach out to new folks the more comfortable they get in new places.

Thon is a very passionate dragon who's dedicated to thons work. Xe loves to ask questions and has an itch to learn more about the world around xem. Xe'll rapidly ask question after question when xyr attention is piqued. As stated before, they love to regurgitate any information they've learned to whoever is willing to listen.

Biography

Years ago, two dragons of no specific tribe by the name of River and Apollo became a pair of fathers upon Victor's hatching. The trio lived in Possibility in a modest but comfortable home with a colorful collection of neighbors.

Apollo was renowned for his storytelling, gifted with an imagination that he must have passed down to his dragonet, as Victor was enthralled with entertaining and learning lessons vicariously through invented characters. Although Apollo and River encouraged and supported their child as it pursued its interest in telling its own stories to others, Victor struggled to share their ideas publicly as a young dragonet. Apollo was beloved by the dragons of Possibility, and Victor's anxiety about living up to such a reputation left xem stuttering and tripping over the words xe was so familiar with. This anxiety almost led to quitting their passion for telling stories altogether.

Victor's family was supportive—no doubt about that. However, they were never truly comfortable until they met like-minded peers who also wanted to share their passions with other dragons, but were too shy to. In this club of artistic dragonets, Victor felt its confidence expand, enough for it to grow into its own voice and tell its stories to more than just close friends and family.

Upon graduating from Possibility's public schools, Victor was at a loss for what to pursue into thons adult life. After all, thon loved thons community, the friends thon had made, and the opportunities thon had there. It knew it wanted to continue telling stories. But after reflecting upon xyr childhood, xe knew that xe didn't just want to tell stories of xyr own. They wanted to uplift others the way their peers had uplifted them. Victor decided that they would go on to document the stories of other dragons across the world!

After all, living in Possibility had exposed thon to a wide variety of cultures and traditions. No two tribes were exactly the same, and no two dragons were the same, either. Different families had their own ways of celebrating their heritage, and each dragon had their own way of showing it off. Thon had developed a fascination with the tribes of Pyrrhia, especially because thons mixed heritage had left thon curious about where thon may have come from.

And so, after bidding goodbye to its parents (and promising to visit them), it set off on a journey across the continent. Despite their excitement for the opportunities they were about to pursue, it was inevitable that they were anxious. Never before had Victor wandered so far from Possibility. But xyr worries were soon put to rest when xe was warmly received by the communities xe stumbled across.

They were intrigued—charmed, even—by the young dragon's curiosity and excitement to learn about them. Victor's anxieties were delightfully proven wrong as dragons all across the cities and queendoms of Pyrrhia welcomed them. With a writing utensil in talon and a library of scrolls at the ready, word began to spread of the strange-looking dragon with an appreciation for the differences between dragons. The continent had grown to recognize the friendly face of Victor, and they were given the title of the Pyrrhian People's Archivist. The work they did to acknowledge dragons and share their stories was celebrated throughout the continent.

Eventually, the continent of Pantala was rediscovered. In the wake of Pyrrhia establishing contact with its newfound neighbor, Victor has begun traveling through Pantala. Xyr goals are the same: to learn as much as xe can about the dragons they share the world with, but with the added challenge of mapping out and navigating the new terrain of the distant land. With help from the dragons of Pantala, thons goals will surely be achieved, and when thon returns to Pyrrhia, thon will certainly have a story or two to tell!

Trivia

  • Thon wears glasses purely for fashion—they actually have near-perfect vision.
  • Xe has dated two dragons during their travels: a RainWing princess and a MudWing commoner.
    • Despite separating, they're still on good terms with both of their exes.
