Project Myth
This project is set in a semi-modern timeline, where dragons will have advanced technology ans science but they are not anthropomorphic! Please keep that in mind when creating characters for this project.
The creators of project myth are Pluto The Hybrid and VyperTheRainwing. Echeveria was created by Vyper and Ptarmigan was created by Pluto. Characters and users who are a part of this project will be credited at the bottom of this post. Please DO NOT steal any content! Weather it be coding, characters, art, designs, writing, anything at all.
Information
Locations
Base Alpha: Base Alpha is where the project is run, and where the most important and dangerous experiments are held. The founders manage every base from this location. It is designed to be a small house on the top, barely noticeable, but a large modern lab underneath. Each experiment has a personal cell, designed to be extremely strong and comfortable. The scientists who work here walk around on raised platforms going to each different cell and room, like factories and warehouses. One of the rooms, nicknamed ‘the playroom’ by employees, is where the experiments can socialize together. It is a large room with slides, swings, puzzles, and space for them to interact. Most of them spend a large portion of their time here. The base also has three "training rooms", where scientists test their experiments abilities and skills. Experiments are allowed to train once they turn 6.
Base Omega: Base Omega was the second base established, and it is less inconspicuous than Base Alpha. This base is located in the lower Sand kingdom, two miles away from a small village. It is a large walled-in square building designed to keep the heat out. It is two times as bigger as Base Alpha, and contains the less dangerous experiments. All of the cells look identical to Base Alpha maybe an inch or two smaller.
Base Omega has three ‘play rooms’, two small ones and one large one in the middle of the building. It has a glass roof so scientists can observe from above while walking on the raised platforms. This base has only two training rooms.
Base Beta:This Base is the only Project Myth location on Pantala. It looks like a miniature Base Omega, but with Pantalan themed decoration. On the opposite side to the entrance wall, there is a large Project Myth and Clearsight banner, above a staircase to the laboratory rooms. On the outside it looks similar to an ancient treestuff cube building, located on the lower ‘wing’, across from Beetle lake in a grove of trees. Base Beta has two training rooms as well as Base Omega.
Haven: Haven is a city environment for the experiments that have grown to big for any of the Bases. It was originally constructed to house the ones who would pose a threat to regular society, but even docile experiments have moved in. Haven is large and controlled, yet still allows a sense of freedom. There are many places for citizens to explore, and even start new businesses and buy houses. Experiments use a currency called Wings to pay for various products and services, they even developed a mayor system in which an experiment is elected to represent Haven. Its buildings resemble Mongolian architecture and roofs, but with a more modern twist. Some are more decorated and larger than others.
Adoption Process
Project Myth does not take in random eggs of the streets, the egg must have certain qualifications. First, the egg must have been there for a while. Only eggs who have not been adopted will be taken in, and eggs who other dragons notice and want to adopt will not be taken in. Next the egg’s genetics must be compatible with mythical creature genes because the dragonet will not hatch if incompatible. Diseased or deformed eggs will not hatch with mythical genes either (except in rare, rare cases). You can also volunteer an egg who meets the requirements, though much paperwork will need to be signed. This is an uncommon occurrence.
Identification
Naming: Names are chosen rather unofficially by the employees, depending on the appearance and temperament of the young subject when it hatches. Sometimes multiple different employees gather to decide the name of a dragonet, and even argue over the name. These names are written down on the subject’s official paper next to their number.
Number IDs: When an egg is cleared and taken in, they are given a number. A numbers sole purpose is to sort the eggs when first coming in but are not needed after it hatches (except for official documents). Numbers are four digits long, but the randomized pattern means nothing. These are written down on the subject’s official paper next to their given name.

Rules and Guidelines
Rules
Regarding Experiment Abilities
- Experiments may take three abilities from the mythical creature or less.
- The third being less useful.
- Experiments may take only two abilities from their tribe or less.
- Once moonborn NightWings are allowed. We will let few twice moonborns exist, and thrice moonborns are a no.
- NO animi whatsoever, no exceptions.
- Firescale SkyWings are allowed, just not too many.
- You can have multiple fireproof MudWings.
- If an experiment has a child the child may inherit some of the experiments genes but not all.
Regarding The Amount of Characters
- Each user can have up to three scientists and two experiments
- There cannot be two experiments based on the same creature unless one experiment has a child.
