Appearance:[]
Armorwings are medium to small-sized dragons that have thick layered armor-like scales similar in appearance to arthropod’s exoskeleton. They have two pairs of eyes the primary set which sees in standard dragon-vision, and the smaller secondary eyes behind the primary eyes which see in infrared and are used to track body heat. The defining feature of this tribe is the four face-plates around the snout. The face-plates each cover one fourth of the dragon’s snout, making the dragons seem as though they have a split jaw structure around their entire snout. These face-plates are the thickest armor and help catch prey, and startle attackers when opened.
Abilities:[]
Face-plates:[]
The four face-plates of the Armorwings begin in front of their eyes and span to the end of their snouts. These face-plates, also known as face-shields, are serrated along the sides for the first half then smooth out along the other half. They are extremely sharp and are more commonly used in combat rather than the conventional biting. The plates fold smoothly around the snout to help with streamlining when swimming.
aquatic capabilities:[]
Armorwings are sea dragons, and they have gills tucked beneath the armor along the neck and webbed talons to help with swimming. The tribe’s wings are smaller to assist with steering underwater, and they have a tail ending in two fins to help with propulsion.
Durability:[]
Armorwings are physically tough and durable thanks to their thick armor covering their entire body.
Blasts:[]
Scalding water blast:[]
The Armorwings can store water inside of them and super-heat it with their flame to make a boiling hot water blast. They are capable of controlling how hot the blast is but usually keep it around boiling temperatures. This blast is the blast used when underwater however the range is shortened when underwater.
Fire blasts:[]
This tribe is capable of breathing fire. this fire-blast is similar to the blasts of Nightwings and Sandwings. This ability is unable to be used underwater for obvious reasons.
Culture:[]
Armorwings live deep underwater within a hidden trench known as ‘The Trench’. they mostly keep to themselves and stay in the deeper waters.
