Weapon- He doesn't use weapons, only his stingers.
Powers- Hornet has two long, thick, silver bone stingers located on his two front wrists that he can retract and suck in at will. He also has a long, thin silver stinger protruding from his tail. Only his tail stinger is covered in an acidic venom that can kill a dragon if injected. He cannot retract his tail stinger.
Nightripper inhaled the fresh river spray in the crisp morning air as she adjusted her wings to swerve down to the ground. Her talons brushed the delicate grass as she landed, and she looked around for Blackfang's academy.
With her sight focused over her shoulder, she saw a towering sandstone building. The pillars were carved with graceful dragons of foreign tribes that looked of butterflies and bees, and miss and ivy crawled up the walls. The glass windows were stained in electric colors and caught the sun like a flame.
Nightripper grinned and slowly turned her body to face the building, which of course read, "Blackfang's Academy." The shadowy NightWing sighed and trotted up to the doors.
The entrance looked over her head, and she wondered whether Darkstalker had set talon here. She lightly ran her claw along the door, ready to knock.
But the door creaked open, revealing a room with only candlelight. Nightripper smiled and stepped inside.
As Kagahu touched the ground, grass sizzling, she thought, This school better be good. I hope there are some other dragons like me. I was so lonely at the last school. Then her head snapped up as she thought, Remember Kagahu, you're not here to make friends! As far as you know, all of these dragons could be on a mission to kill you! Be confident, mysterious, and above all, don't be clumsy! She then started to walk towards the door after seeing a Nightwing go inside.
Shadow slivered past the guards at the village and and leaped off the cliff. He veered to the close academy and he landed after a few minutes. Double checking his stash, Shadow flipped to land on the roof, and eyed the dragon era before entering himself.
Mantis stalked through the shadows of the forest around the village before moving closer, careful not to create too much noise with his mantis-like prosthetic forelimbs. His could see two dragons guarding the entrance with his heat vision. Mantis moved a little closer and one of the guards picked up their weapon. With blinding speed, Mantis struck that guard with his left prosthetic limb, breaking the guard's neck, killing them. Mantis turned towards the other guard and rapidly tapped both forelimbs on the ground. Moments later, a voice that said: "No witnesses." could be heard coming from his claws. Mantis struck again, this time shattering the guard's skull followed by the same attack that killed the other guard. Mantis moves to the first guard that he killed and a section of his right forelimb opens up to reveal a scalpel. He proceeds to skin the guard and wear their skin as a cloak. Another section of the same forelimb opens up to reveal a circular saw and he begins cutting into the guard's corpse. Mantis removes the skull of the guard with a smaller claw from his left forelimb and wears the skull over his left shoulder before heading for the academy.
Berserk hurried toward the entrance of the school and accidentally ran straight into the door."oof!" He yelped before realizing he had also opened the door. It created quite a racket. He came in stumbling.
Shadow flicked his tail and merged in the shadows of a corner, eyeing everyone with fury. He also studied their minds, which rang Im late! To Ow, that hurt and finally I'm finally here. He smiled slightly.
Hornet watched from the sky, his wings buzzing. Acid dripped from his tail dangerously, but the Hivewing didn't care. He narrowed his eyes, seeing the dragons entering. Slowly gliding down, Hornet noticed an annoyed looking Skywing and a Hooded Sandwing, as well as a couple of others. Hornet dramatically landed, his talons thumping on the cold stone.
Apidae sighed, taking his pouch and finally arrived at the place. He quickly checked for his disks and poison, and began to walk when he noticed another Hivewing arriving, thumping their talons on the stone. “Ey, what with the drama?” He asked, giving a little annoyed look.
Hornet narrowed his eyes a little, then put on a convincing smile. "Just a little fun." He hissed, looking at the dragon. "So what's your deal?" Hornet said casually. His tail, however, was in a position that would make it easy to strike. Bright green acid still dripped off it, eating away at the material wherever it landed.
Mantis silently lands behind Hornet and the tip of his right prosthetic limb opens up to reveal a blowtorch. He holds the torch just above Hornet's stinger and activates it, the torch creating a brief hissing sound when it ignited.
Hornet's ear twitched, and his smile dropped. The Hivewing turned to see a Nightwing holding a blowtorch, next to his tail. Hornet hissed, and whirled himself out of the way. Instantly, his wrist stingers shot out. "WOAH WOAH WOAH, What is going on here?" He drawled, his Pantalan accent very noticeable.
Mantis' face twists into an unhinged grin and the blowtorch retracts back into the tip of his claw. He then stands up on his hind legs and his forelimbs become a blur as they rapidly tap the ground in front of him. A synthetic voice could be heard seconds after he was done tapping. "Sorry mate, your attack stance looked oddly suspicious to me." before letting out a low chuckle and backing up a little.
"Well, good thing you picked up on it." Hornet answered. It seemed as if he was being polite, but all Hornet really wanted to do was fly away. The Hivewing's wrist stingers retacted with a metallic clink, as if a sword were being put back in it's sheath, and Hornet took on a more relaxed pose. "Well, let's get a look at the menagerie! I'm Hornet of Hornet Hive, most skilled assassin in Pantala." Hornet said grinning. He's noticed a few other Pantalan dragons on his way in, and wanted to see if he could lure them out.
Mantis taps his claws on the ground again. "Mantis, but sometimes known as 'The Doctor'. Long story. Don't ask." the voice replied. As Mantis' forelimbs aren't really designed to shake other dragon's claws without it looking a little strange, a section of his right prosthetic limb opened up and a smaller claw reached out for Hornet to shake.
Hornet grinned, shaking both dragon's claws at the same time. "That sounds interesting, and your metal...devices are very cool!" The Hivewing said, looking at Mantis's limbs. Hornet turned to Apidae. "Always good to see some more Pantalan representation!" He said, thinking about the dragon's name. Hornet thought he might have heard it before, from a confidante.
“What tribe even are you?” He hissed, flicking his ear. “At least Hornet appreciates his natural powers.” He said, smiling to Hornet. “Plus, I’ve already made a potion that weakens electricity.” She commented as Lightningtail showed his power.
Powers- (Possibly fortelling the future/prophesizing??)
(short desc.: very dark purple dragonet with sturdy legs, glossy scales, and silver secondary scales. She has a british accent and pale blue eyes with silver star scales scattered across her wings [and possibly tear-shaped silver scales at the corner of her eyes])
