Tern is an adult female IceWing and a member of The Intertwined Flight. She was originally in a Second Circle family, however due to fear failed her coming of age hunting that would've ranked her at their level.
Before the record was submitted, she was abandoned in the desert, her family claiming she died to retain their rank. She wandered until being taken in by Possum, added to the group. She eventually become an ice sculptor which grabbed her family's attention who tried to return her into their family but she denied realizing their only cared of her worth, remaining with her found family.
Appearance[]
Tern's family is notable for their patterned scales, dark gray patches between light gray, glittering scales. She matches them, her patches being on her lower wings, snout and tail. She is large yet lithe with slightly thicker claws. She is often tense and has a brash voice. She originally had a necklace chain made of string mimicking the second circle chains, though since has added flowers to distance herself from the circle.
Tern is bulky, with a thick snout and long tail. She has multiple scars from small animals and wears a satchel with a kris.
Personality[]
Tern always had an issue with confidence. She is insecure and doesn't believe she'd ever be remotely loved. She often gave up in attempts to raise her ranking because she believed she'd mess up, however such a fear only prompted her to fail. She was said to have great potential, but her anxiousness didn't allow her to achieve it until years integrated into the Intertwined Flight.
She attempts to cover her insecurities with a cold, brash exterior, trying to intimidate others by giving off a souless, deadly vibe. Only recently has she loosen her tense, becoming more relaxed with a hint of curiosity. She loves to express her self in her sculptures and can be lost in them for several days.
Biography[]
- was in a second circle family but not performing well

- parents tried to convince her to hunt something big, she was able to do so but feared messing up
- from this fear that exactly happened, she messed up and it got away
- parents ditched her to the outskirts and pretended that she died in a war conflict in order to remain in the second circle
- likes ice sculpting, planning on becoming a sculptor
- it started with snow structures until brightseer suggested ice
- sells sculptures to her tribe under the alias of 'Leopard'
- eventually news gets to census and they realize the existing Leopard is only a soldier whoops
- eventually it is found out shes tern
- her family realize how much more fame they'd get if their trade was also ice sculpting so they have her an ultimatum to return to her family without any cost as long as she kept sculpting

- starting to accidentally realize she's winter
- due to this i will be altering her to only care ahout her family. everyone else she doesn't care for, even new people she meet.
