DeathWings are a lithe tribe, but Tawny Owl is even smaller due to being a dragonet. This gives her an advantage of speed, agility, and the ability to weave and dodge larger opponents. She usually uses this to wiggle past guards and play where she isn't supposed to.
All DeathWings can emit a corrosive vapor from their lungs, much like how firebreath works. Although instead of aiming it, the vapor just pours out of their mouth like smoke or fog. Tawny Owl has never actually breathed out her vapor on purpose, but sometimes it trickles through her teeth or nose when she's getting angry or annoyed. She doesn't have the best control of it yet, since she's still young.
The young Lady became interested in maps and navigation when she was young, often peeking over the shoulders of the offical map-charters when they would meet with her mother. She became fascinated by it, with a sort of lust to wander Pyrrhia and map every nook and cranny. She learned from the best map-makers and navigators in the tribe, her mother wanting the best education for her daughter. Even though she's still a dragonet, she is quickly becoming a very skilled mapmaker.
Navigational skills come with mapwriting; you have to know where you are in order to map it. She learned navigation from her mapmaking teachers, and some experienced navigators also taught her how to check and predict wind and weather patterns. She can read the stars and figure out where she is, no matter where. Her sense of cardinal direction is also pretty good since being in training with navigators.
