appearance
sylvite is a dragon who many would call striking. they’re petite, with a small, thin frame. their main scale color is a lavender-violet, striating into a slightly darker color as their scales flee further and further from their face.
despite their beauty, sylvie is unapproachable and cold. their face is one that is permanently set in an arrogant and bitter expression, daring you to challenge them. their sclerae are deep, deep violet, irises a teal green. they typically wear heavy eyeliner, accentuating their long, sweeping eyelashes.
cascading down their back is a dark violet mane, sweeping over one of their eyes. this manelike sail is speckled with mint and teal stars, splashed across like water droplets.
underneath their eyes are bright teal-green heart-shaped glowscales, three under each eye. pairs of these glowscales line their neck, the pointed edge of each heart touching the other in pairs.
their ears are quite odd, bifurcated in the middle like a bow. dangling down from the bottoms is a "streamer" that makes their ears resemble swallowtail wings.
sylvie’s four wings are large and star-speckled around the edges. their top wings are a darker purple than their bottom wings. like their ears, their wings resemble a swallowtail butterfly’s wings.
they have a long tail, which often flicks in annoyance or when they're bored, tipped with a spade or heart-like shape.
they typically wear two chokers-both black, with one being edged with lace and the other plain with dangling gems-and two earrings in their butterfly-shaped ears.
sylvite’s blood is a bright teal color. their few healed scars are a muted seafoam color.
personality
outwardly, you’d assume sylvite is your average angsty teenager. fae are quiet, but snappy when talked to, sarcastic, and sometimes downright mean.fae typically resort to insults or threats when in an argument, despite faer lack of strength.
sylvie is quick to anger, and faer temper is somewhat legendary. fae hate being talked down to-doing so is a surefire way to stoke faer temper.
fae can be passive-aggressive at times, a trait fae got from faer mother. sylvie is bad at expressing faer emotions, which is why fae are so quick to jump to anger.
internally, sylvie is a lonely, lonely dragon who constantly beats faerselves up over every single thing fae do. fae have incredibly low self-esteem.
fae despise the way fae look. faer parents and siblings belittled them for not looking normal, for being covered in stars, for having such an odd mix of faer four tribes, for faer unsettling dark eyes. fae learned to think of all of these things as negative, as things to hate faerselves for.
sylvie has a crass, vulgar sense of humor. fae enjoy shocking others with faer off-color jokes.
history
hatched into an upper-class family in a large city around 100 miles away from unity, vivi was unwanted from hatching. a bastard child, bullied by their half-siblings, save for galena.
galena was the only sibling who was kind to vivi-letting them sleep in his room when they had nightmares, standing up to bullies for them, and walking with them to and from school. the only beacon of light in the hellhole they lived in.
all good things must come to an end, though.
one night, when vivi was three, they found galena's dead body in the garden. They don't remember much of that day, just their tears mixing with his blood as they desperately clutched onto galena, pleading for him to come back.
the next six months were a nightmare that not even galena could save them from. the media was all over the tide-crescent family, especially the young and sensitive vivi.
vivi refused to talk to any of them, as well as their own family, for nearly a year. nobody seemed to be too worried, though.
perhaps they should have been.
the months passed, and as vivi withdrew more and more, they grew angrier and angrier.
until one day, they packed a bag and just ran away to unity. they didn’t care if they lived or died, they just wanted out.
they nearly immediately got severely injured by a piece of falling scaffolding.

avalite tide-crescent: despite vi’s loathing of faer sister, fae do have some respect for her. fae admire avalite’s take-no-prisoners get-out-of-my-way-peasant attitude and wish fae could have some of that confidence.
