A P P E A R A N C E

sylvie is a strange dragonet, his appearance less so. pastel purple covers most of his body, with only his back, the top of his head, and his wings being free of this color. instead, a dark purple-blue spreads across in one long, spattered line. some lighter purplish-blues can vaguely be seen, along with a few dots of navy, but they're mostly eaten up.

perhaps the most noticeable parts of his design are the small mirror scales cover his back in the dark parts, ending around his tail area. these almost look like stars from afar and even sparkle like such, but that's likely because of the light bouncing off these sparkly scales. similarly, the mirror-like scales are seen on the undersides of his wings as a trademark of his tribe.

the wings themselves are a pale gradient of light purple to a cooler, deeper pastel purple the closer it gets to the edges. speckles of the dark blue can be seen faintly spattered between the section connecting his wings and shoulders down to just above his wrists. his color also bruises his knees, as though he scraped them in purple paint.

in color, they are a purple-white, with more emphasis on the white side. light pastel purple-blue spines go down his back in two sections, as they ripple down his neck and start again at the base of his tail. two more horns stick out of the back of his head and are short and straight. sylvie's crown is the same color as the rest of his spines.

the lightwing's eyes are a pastel green and have a determined air to them. he has a somewhat elegant build, at least upon first glance. but looking further shows the little imperfections, he has average-sized legs with some additional layers of fat for good measure. he looks plump and well-fed, his skin looks well cared for, a sentiment that could also be said about his mirror scales. his tail has a plump base, but gets thinner as it goes on.

a few gold accessories drip from his character. chain-link bands are seen around his horns. another group of small bands with teardrops attached to it wrap around a row of his spines. long earrings hang from his ears and are rectangular in shape. additionally, two band wrap around his tail, near the tip, and another small band wraps around one of his wing spurs. he is also seen with a small piercing in his right brow and wears a small band near the tip of his tail with a teardrop hanging from it.

weird little gremlin guy. generally imprudent and resourceful, but also curious and kind. particularly enthusiastic when learning about topics he cares about.
has a strong sense of justice and gets frustrated when he can't enact it.
can be selfish at times, but he learns from his mistakes and tries his best to be more open-minded and giving.
a fast learner and as such he can be rather impatient when his teachers don't go at the same pace as him.
can be sarcastic and frank, but it's mostly all in good fun, never really intends on hurting others' feelings... unless they're villains!
always tries to act professional and often puts on cologne to make himself look more professional. though it doesn't work.
hates when others steal his thunder.
doesn't seem to mind when he gets hurt, likely due to the pain tolerance his tribe has.
can be petty and spiteful towards those he has a grudge against. is also rather impulsive and can get over his head sometimes.
typically acts cold and stoic towards strangers. it's so he looks more professional, according to him.
huge fan of food, but never really wanted to work in the culinary profession. will eat anything you put on his plate, though, he isn't picky.
doesn't really like conventional means of work and much prefers to be a vigilante because he finds it fun for some reason.
never forgets when someone breaks a promise they made to him, even the minor ones. pretends not to get upset at most of these.
fairly obedient and quite reliable. while he doesn't really like doing general housework, he'll still do it if told to. let it be known, corners may be cut, however.

the lightwing's abilities don't stray too far from the norm, with the ones he's been provided from his tribe being the only ones he has. these being high pain tolerance due to the arrangement of his skin. additionally, sylvie has reflective scales underneath his wings. the lightwing can also flare his wings to reflect the light off these scales and daze his opponents, though this is only used for self-defense purposes.

cares about her dearly, but finds it difficult to believe she used to be a very renowned vigilante, since she acts more like a gossip-obsessed wine aunt. feels like she knows more than what she's leading on, but isn't quite sure. finds it frustrating how insistent she is on teaching him cooking, something he doesn't have a huge passion for.
