Sunchaser is an adult male NightWing-RainWing hybrid. He is often seen as the second Darkstalker and hatched with animus magic and under two full moons before he enchanted himself to have these enhanced. He currently resides in the Cloud Palace, and is married to Queen Darksinger and has four dragonets, Ex-Prince Eerie, Princess Galaxy, Prince Totality and Princess Moonflower.
Appearance[]
Sunchaser has thick, pristine dark green and blue scales. His wings and frills are mostly dark blue and a desaturated gold, described as an early twilight with stars dotting the edges of them. Unlike the traditional silver teardrop scales that NightWings usually have, his are a dark, shimmering gold, with a golden scale in the corners of each eye. Sunchaser also has boldly colored eyes the color of the setting sun, with pupils that are often narrowed to slits in a cat-like way. His face is long and wide, and his tail always curls when he walks or rests. He has broad shoulders and wings, which he often has folded to his sides. Sunchaser has a kingly, regal and intimidating posture, and dark aura around him.
Personality[]
Sunchaser is conceited, charismatic, brutal, intelligent, sly, power-hungry and short tempered. As a dragonet, his oldest sister Colorshifter described him as "rotten to the core" and with a fragile soul subject to evil. However, in public Sunchaser always carried himself in a polite, kind and sincere way, making him quite liked by his peers, teachers and even strangers who met him in public. He at a young age had a wide range of knowledge and skillsets, making him well-rounded and pampered. Because of this, he was spoiled and always got his way and wasn't defied by any of his relatives and also believed anything he does is better than what anyone else can do. He was also sneaky, and a good liar, and often framed his siblings, particularly Colorshifter, for his wrongdoings, which always worked out for him.
As Sunchaser aged, his problems only got worse, becoming more violent, irritable and merciless, and his charismatic exterior at places like school, which made others avoid him. Sunchaser also held grudges against other dragons for years and would constantly torment them when given the chance. Sunchaser also developed a liking and hobby of manipulating and using others for his own gain, even if he didn't have an actual motivation for doing such. He became unpredictable once he left school, mostly due to the fact he discovered that he was an animus. After said discovery, he also carried himself in a somehow much more menacing and bossy way.
Essentially, Sunchaser is a narcissist with a charismatic persona. The hybrid is usually apathetic towards any situation. He also believes in "purity" and that he is "pure", and that he should rule the world. He also likes scheming; however it is known he suffers from frequent burnouts, and he is often lazy. Colorshifter finds Sunchaser delusional and dangerous and is appalled that he got married to Darksinger and had dragonets, although she has come to the conclusion that his entire family is under a spell.
Biography[]
-Hatched as an animus and under 2 full moons in the rainforest
-Colorshifter and Sunchaser would get into tiffs from as far back as Sunchaser can remember
-Sunchaser was the one who constantly went after Colorshifter and antagonized her
-Sunchaser went to multiple different schools and kept getting kicked out, and envied the fact Colorshifter went to Jade Mountain Academy
-Sunchaser met Darksinger and the two fell in love
-Sunchaser eventually started to curse Colorshifter with his animus magic
-He went mad with power after a few years and took over the RainWing and NightWing tribes
-He and Darksinger got married, but Darksinger considered backing out, thus causing him to enchant Darksinger
-Sunchaser took over Pyrrhia, and had a dragonet named Eerie
-Sunchaser took over Pantala next, and established his tyranny
-While working out his animus spells and his new rules, he had two dragonets named Galaxy and Totality
-A rebellion formed and for some reason he was unable to use his powers to stop them
-He began to torture Colorshifter with his animus magic
-He had Moonflower, Eerie learned what was going on and tried running away with Moonflower's egg
-Sunchaser at first assumed that Eerie and Moonflower were kidnapped, but learned it was Eerie and put a bounty on him since he couldnt stop him with his powers for some reason
