Squid is a twenty-three year-old male SeaWing who currently resides in the Deep Palace. He serves in the SeaWing Council as a general of the military, leading battle operatives, war strategies, and training dragonets to prepare to join the military.

Appearance[]

Squid has pale teal scales, with occasional tints of green and grey along his spine, gills, and under-talons. His underbelly is a dull, sky blue. His bioluminescent scales, fin, and wing membrane are a purple, slightly tinted with indigo. His eyes are described to be lifeless and his face seems to be struck with a permanent frown. His claws and horns are a navy-blue.

Personality[]

Squid is a serious, brutal SeaWing who refuses to show mercy in war. Young dragonets and students tend to avoid interaction with him when they can, describing him as bossy and grumpy. Though, before his wife died, he was described as a more playful dragon, often interacting with others.

History[]

Squid was granted the position of general by Shark, considering how well he was doing in his training, as well as his strategic, serious, and cruel attitude. At the time Squid was only thirteen; therefore the council was hesitant. Though, unwilling to argue with Shark, they agreed. At the time Squid was engaged to a SeaWing named Seashell, whom he eventually married. They had been married for four years, and Squid appeared to be more focused on his wife than his duties. Upon Shark's realization, he decided to kill Squid's wife and "teach him a lesson." The secret is kept only between the two, guarded by Shark's threat of murdering Squid if he didn't keep quiet.

Relationships[]

Shark[]

Squid's relationship with Shark is very negative. The two used to have a very close relationship, as Shark was once Squid's mentor. Ultimately, Shark has always wanted best for his prized student. Shark considers the murder of Squid's wife to be "tough love," and does not feel any remorse whatsoever. In doing this, it entirely shattered Squid and Shark's relationship.

SeaShell[]

Squid's deceased wife, who was murdered by Shark. He and his wife were childhood friends, married not long before her murder.

Queen Coral[]

The sole reason Squid is still a general. She considers Squid to be one of her best generals, and despite Shark's protests to demote him, she disagrees.

SmokeSight[]

Squid's childhood friend. They have a very complicated relationship, after not meeting for at least seven years. They later meet again, and seem to have a frenemy relationship. They often pick at eachother for fun, but are ultimately best friends.
