Sakura is average in size, with short claws that she often paints to match her scales. She has light pink-almost white-scales with darker, pale pink splotches on her neck. She has dark pinkish-magenta speckles. Her spikes are dipped in the same color. Her wing webbing is a darker light pink than her scales. She has orange-pink eyes with a beauty mark next to them. She wears a silver crown with darker pink stones, a silver hoop earring, and a black leopard-print shawl.
Sakura is resourceful, and discovered that blubber works as pillows/warmers. She doesn’t like when dragons annoy her, nor when they bully her about her claws. She cares about other dragons.
Sakura hatched a year after Quartz, her older sister, did. Queen Gleam was thrilled to have another heir. Quartz, on the other hand, wasn’t pleased to have to compete with another dragon. She also had an older brother, Mammoth, who was 4 at the time. Princess Sakura was protected as a young dragonet.
Once she got a bit older, around age 5, she started to sneak out of her room or the guard/servant’s sight. She’d go to the prison and talk to the prisoners. She often thought it was unfair for some of them to be there, since some of them had dragonets. One time, she convinced her mother to let some of them go.
Around the time when she had turned 6, her brother, Lemming, hatched. The two grew close, even though they were years apart.
When Sakura was 9, she went to a lake with Lemming. That was where she met Foxfire. When she first saw her, Sakura walked over to her and they started talking. They became friends, and soon became girlfriends. Queen Gleam wanted her daughter to marry a male dragon, but later excepted Sakura’s choice.
Foxfire and Sakura are almost inseparable. They often make bracelets and paint together.
Foxfire is Sakura’s girlfriend, and the two have been together for years. They met at a lake, and became friends, later falling in love. Sakura enjoys watching the borealis, since it reminds her of her girlfriend.
Lemming is Sakura’s younger brother. He was often ignored by his parents and other sister, but Sakura made sure he wasn’t ignored completely. Lemming knows that Sakura will be there for him, even though they’re years apart.
Both princesses hate each other. Quartz, even as a 13 year old, still teases her sister about her claws. Sakura doesn’t think Quartz would be a good queen, even if they weren’t competing for the throne.
Sakura likes Amazing, but gets a bit intimidated, for she is all-mighty
