Personality
Robin's history is not much known to others, making others confused about him. However, Robin is a great tactician and usually spends time reading his books. He is very, very cautious, certainly about his animus power, since he does not want to get out of control. He does not care that he serves LightWings, even though he is a SkyWing, and Ylisse and Plegia are at war. He thinks that Morgan, his daughter, perfectly represents Ylisse and Plegia combined, since Morgan is half LightWing and half SkyWing.

History
Robin originally hatched to an unknown female SkyWing and Validar. Robin was a descendant of a long lineage of Grimleal leaders, leaders who worship the fell dragon, Grima, making Validar expect for Robin to be perfect for Grima. However, Grima already despised Validar for certain actions, so Validar thought of sacrificing Robin to Grima to please him.
Validar thought it was a great plan so Grima would not despise him, but Robin's unnamed mother was worried about Validar planning to kill a baby dragonet. When Robin's mother feared that it was too much, she took Robin from the nest and fled out of Plegia before Validar could do anything to harm Robin.
Validar, on the other talon, was furious about not being able to please Grima and had to live as an unfair servant to Grima.
Many years later, Robin grew to adulthood and caught amnesia. He collapsed in front of Ylisseans, Plegia's enemy (yet he was not on Plegia's side due to Validar's plan and his mother fleeing), but luckily he collapsed in front of Lissa and Chrom. He was confirmed that he was not on their side and joined Ylisse's side.
