Resplendent belongs to Sandycheeksisawesome. Please don't use him without permission, but you can make another AviWing based on a resplendent quetzal. He is slightly based on two other fictional characters that you will never find out. Hehe.
Personality[]
Resplendent is a charming, manipulative, and ruthless individual. Although he seems like a kind and just leader, he is more than willing to kill those who pose a threat to him or are a hindrance to his plans. Everybody in his eyes is inferior to him except the members of the royal family, although his desire for power might lead him to want to be king.
His voice is soft, but all dragons are able to hear it. It has an edge to it that makes most dragons feel the need to do whatever he says. Obviously this is a great advantage for a leader.
Resplendent can maintain a cheerful attitude around any and all dragons, even those who he is planning to kill later. He is not an excellent fighter, so he tends to go in when his rivals are least expecting it and strike one fatal blow.
Appearance[]
Respledent is a resplendent quetzal AviWing. He is considered to be very handsome which works in his favor in his climb for power.
He is mainly varying shades of green including emerald green, light green, and the slightest of sea-green on the shoulders of his wings. The rest of his wings is completely black. His underbelly is a vivid red-orange and he has one of the longest tails compared to his size in the tribe. His horns are thin, long strips of black while his claws are pure white. The tips of his snout and legs are a bright yellow that slowly melts into the rest of his body.
Resplendent does not sport any accessories as he believes he is already adorned naturally.
Abilities[]
As stated before, he is a natural leader and skilled in politics. He is also one of the intelligent dragons in the tribe. Aside from his intellect and natural talent in politics, Resplendent is quite agile as he is smaller than the average AviWings, but his wings are also smaller. He prefers not to fly long distances as it tires him out. Since his tail is one of the longest tails compared to body size he has extra tail darts. The most potent are the ones closer to his body while the least potent are the ones on the edge of his tail. The more potent darts are able to cause the victim to hallucinate for a short amount of time, though he does not use them often because they are more likely to gain infection than the less potent darts.
