Rainmaker is obliviously arrogant and condescending, though he never means bad. He loves helping people but always holds himself as the number one priority.
He assumes right off the bat that others are unreliable and untrustworthy, and lives by a rather extreme interpretation of ‘rather be safe than sorry’.
Reading other’s comes easy to him and he’s skilled with his words. This makes him quite adept at bargaining and negotiating. He’s also quite clever, but prideful, which can result in him doing stupid things.

Ember - positive/neutral[]
Ember, the ringmaster of the Circus and his boss. He appreciates the job Ember gave him along with the generous pay. Most dragons don’t realize how important properly handled finances are and Ember is one of the few dragons who’ve recognized Rainmaker’s worth. Rainmaker sees his boss as an intelligent charismatic gentledrake, but Ember’s viciousness and lack of respect for life can scare even his own black heart.
Silkfrost - positive[]
Silkfrost, daughter of Glass and Gossamer, and his coworker. While all dragons in the Circus work together to help whenever they can, Silkfrost is the only other permanently behind the scenes worker just like him. Initially he was apprehensive about working with such a young and inexperienced dragon, but she’s proven to be both mature and efficient. Just like his own work, he recognizes the importance and creativity in props, costumes, and special effects, and is always there to complement and criticize in order to help her improve.
Xeric - positive/negative[]
Xeric is the gigantic SandWing who performs the strongdragon act in the Circus, and the one who found Rainmaker in the streets. Typically, Rainmaker would appreciate any dragon who helped him, but Xeric is rude and infuriating, constantly poking his buttons. She puts on a muscle-brain act, and pretends to be stupid, but he knows she’s smarter. The mask may fool the audience, but he knows better. Though, he does respect her, for both her strength and cunning.
Oneiroi - neutral/negative[]
The young NightWing magician. In short, Rainmaker thinks Oneiroi is creepy as Hell, not only is her name weird, the way she talks is creepy. He doesn’t know if it’s an act, but if it is, kudos to her for keeping up the bit. Oneiroi never speaks unless spoken to, or if she’s performing, and either way, it’s always ominous. She walks around like she owns the place, and the arrogance irritated him, but the longer Oneiroi stayed around, the more he begins to notice little things that made him nervous instead. The way she’s never surprised, how intense her gaze is, the confidence in her gait. She’s never bother him, but Rainmaker’s pretty sure she’s a serial killer or something, and makes sure to stay far, far away.
Moonshine - Positive[]
Moonshine is the friendly witty bar tender with plenty of wisdom to share. Rainmaker knows it’s super cliche, but Moonshine is serious the wise old barista archetype. Moonshine’s name is a pun but he claims it’s what his mother named him, and the answer to questions regarding where he came from is never the same. Overall, he’s just very mysterious, and half the things the NightWing has told him are probably false.

His name is a pun, rainmaker can mean “a person who generates income for a business or organization by brokering deals or attracting clients or funds” which references his job as the financial manager and advertiser of Ember’s Circus, and it references his actual tribe the RainWings.
