Pantala is the founder of the continent with the same name. She was a female DashWing whom was also of royal blood, and the former head of the tribe. She helped create the Othermind with her daughter Fera, and spent the rest of her days searching for her daughter when she ran away. She was originally from the Pre-Scorching continent Phlugis.

looked WICKED and DIFFERENT from every ancient tribe friend. the only one (to the other royals) that had insect wings. but this is a common trait to her tribe. she had multiple spikes running down her body, with sturdily twisted horns. protective near-transparent shells over eyes. gill scars along neck. thick stiff tail with a bulb at the end. she is.... a DashWing.
mighty and fierce, Pantala was comparable to the might that the ancient skywings were getting. her tribe already had advanced aerial ambush tactics, proven by the way their wings work. she had a very fit build, determined to fight off any scavenger or dragon that dared to try invading. however, she still had kind eyes and a resting smile. due to being a DashWing, her teeth have serrations in them.
she is commonly depicted as being green and yellow with fierce blue eyes... well, more like the shells covering her eyes.
while this is supposed to be an accurate depiction it is still an artist's rendition. really, pantala was primarily brown with deep green leopard-like patterns etched into her scales. she did have yellow on her, they were accented as her scar color and talon color. her underbelly was a desaturated orange, however. her wings were iridescent, shimmering without color. she had sapphire blue eyes, so thankfully her shell color didn't disrupt the primary coloring too much.
