LunaStar of the NightWings[]
LunaStar is a NightWing who lived in the Rainforest Queendom ruled by Queen Glory. She was born during the New Moon Festival in the year 5012 AS, just after Luna the SilkWing saved the two continents from mass destruction by the Breath of Evil, and was named after her as a result. Her younger sister, Freedom was named after Luna (SilkWing)'s friend who sadly died because of the Breath of Evil's curse (LunaStar's sister didn't die tho!). She is the main protagonist of A New Dawn (book 16), where a human is a shapeshifter and does some evil stuff.
WARNING:
this character is very op, like all my OCs because I'm kinda like, "hmm... she's the main character. I really want her to be super duper powerful! She must be PERFECT!!!!!!!!!" so don't mind it.
Appearance[]
LunaStar has dark, Turquoise-to-purple-magenta scales that are almost black and very shiny. She has magenta to turquoise eyes and gold-silver twining earrings with magenta-to-turquoise hanging stars that her father had made for her for a birthday present. Two silver-gold teardrop scales shine by her eyes, a mark of her Mindreading abilities. She has large wings with shades of magenta and purples and blues, with scattering of stars that make them look like galaxies. Her horns are silver-gold and she has sharp teeth and a thin build.
She is typically seen with her leather bag containing her notebook and several sentimental objects, such as the dragon sculpture that Summer Azure had painted for her. She also was given a silver-gold neckalce with a circular moonstone by Peacemaker, the "light of her life".
MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTION:[]
Her scales are almost black but very shiny. They shimmer turquoise-blue and are closer to her wings and spine, and glow which may be a remnant of all the multi-brids during the Scorching. They're more purple closer to her stomach pad and have tiny silver teardrop patterns that glimmer in the dark like reflective mirrors, or, more NightWing-like, stars. Her snout is light purple, almost lavender, and is short, smooth, and flat near the mouth, where her beak-like scale surrounding her nostrils stand out. She has brilliant magenta-to-turquoise eyes that look like they're filled with stars and are sharp, and stand out more in contrast to her dark appearance.
(By the way, she doesn't have the British accent displayed in the E-Books. She has an American accent that's very mature-ish and cool and stuff)
Personality[]
LunaStar is smart, grouchy, and not afraid to speak out, but also thinks logically before saying anything to any dragon, taking their feelings into account before making an informed decision. She is very artistic, and sometimes imagines impossible things that her friends ridicule her about, and she promptly has a comeback to counter any snide comments they throw her way. She's rarely an over optimistic dragon, and regularly informs dragons of their perilous futures.
She delivered the New Prophecy, a prophecy depicting the rise and fall of leaders and the brave fight to combat their evilness by looking into history and uncovering ancient secrets.
Abilities[]
LunaStar, being born under the light of two full moons during a New Moon Festival, has mind-reading capabilities as well as the ability to see into the future, much like that of Clearsight, able to carefully trace whichever path she chooses. Later in A New Dawn, she aquires Animus Magic due to a very rare flower[see: Biography].
Prophecies Delivered:[]
The New Prophecy as of 5016 AS, four years after the win of the battle of the Breath of Evil and the hatching of LunaStar.
to the Sun, the Stars, the moon
From the void arises a death to you will come soon
in the depths of darkness, it's an eye for an eye
Only one shall find the stars of the skies
Below the mountain, above the trees, lays an egg to the stars nigh
There lay it, falling away, bathed in moonlight
To come up with a secret so vast
You will need to search in the past
To stop the eternal bloodbath
When Luna is being tortured by Ex Queen Eminence, she decides to use two lines of the prophecy to scare her in an attempt to be let free. This doesn't work, however, and she is stuck fighting for her life in the arena, in which her new friend Heather dies. The prophecy depicts bad or evil leaders of the past taking forms within other dragons and ruling their new tribes, which proves handy in stopping these leaders.

Relationships:[]
Peacemaker: Peacemaker is Luna's best friend, and they've known each other since Luna hatched. He was the first dragon she saw upon breaking out of her egg, and they have remained close friends for their whole lives. He is very energized, and is a great songwriter and singer, and Luna tells her friends about how she did concerts with him back in the Rainforest Queendom. He is also a very happy, jumpy dragonet who loves strawberries. He, Luna, and Peril decide to create the best Strawberry Pie using a blend of rare berries. He is in the same Winglet as Luna.
Summer Azure: LunaStar first meets Summer when she first goes to her dorm at her new school. Luna describes her as very smart, logical, and a good friend. In some points in A New Dawn, Oryx makes jokes about how Summer and Luna should name their dragonets Summerstar and Luna Azure, even though the two friends repeatedly tell him that they have no romantic interests in each other. Luna also describes Summer as her best friend, and when Summer asks, "Isn't Peacemaker your best friend?", Luna replies that Peacemaker is her new boyfriend, and Summer admits the dragon she'd been thinking about. Luna is surprised, as Summer gets skyfire, but supports her in her ventures. Summer's crush is Prince Oryx. She is clawmates with Luna and in the same Winglet.
Freedom: Freedom is LunaStar's younger sister, and she is loud, jumpy, and occasionally throws temper tantrums. Luna's mother, Silverstar, says that "Maybe naming her Freedom made her too free. It's a free continent, but even a dragonet that free doesn't whine that much." She isn't seen in much in A New Dawn, but is mentioned a couple times and does appear near the end, when LunaStar's family visits from the Rainforest. She does not go to Jade Mountain Academy, but is planning to go there in about two dragon years.
Bloodmoon: At first, LunaStar is reluctant to befriend the red-black dragonet she'd seen from a distance in the Rainforest. She's surprised to learn that Bloodmoon is half SkyWing, but admits that SkyWings' personalities do match Bloodmoon's. During Queen Eminence's arena, she is found crying by LunaStar and opens up a side of her that Luna hadn't known existed. Near the beginning of the book, she finds out that Bloodmoon is a seer and prophet, and fears of failing her family and fears that her father will be killed by the new, young SkyWing Queen. They later become friends, which surprises many others. Bloodmoon admits to liking a gentle LeafWing who Luna had never spoken to named Sycamore, who is in the same Winglet as Bloodmoon, the Bronze Winglet.
Bumblebee: Bumblebee is a very loud, sarcastic, but caring HiveWing dragonet who has anxiety issues. She's constantly mumbling about a dragon named Sundew and she doesn't enjoy closed spaces very much. She's weary of SandWing venom and HiveWing abilities since she was saved by a dragon named Cricket from Queen Wasp's mind-control powers. When she learns about Luna's newfound abilities, she is more than a little terrified of her powers, but soon decides that those abilities are not worth fussing over, especially because she knows that Luna is not going to hurt anyone who doesn't hurt her first.
Prince Cliff: Prince Cliff, son of Queen Ruby, is a very quiet dragonet at first, but soon bonds with the rest of the Star Winglet and decides to stop being so afraid. After Bloodmoon makes fun of him for refusing to hunt, he admits to being terrified of many things as his mother had been abducted when he was young, then forced to fight to the death, changed into a completely different dragon, and then nearly killed. He doesn't enjoy fire, mainly because of his small fear towards Peril after the events that rattled his childhood, but also because it reminds him of the smell of smoke that lingered around his Grandmother, Ex. Queen Scarlet (who is very similar in personality to Ex. Queen Eminence). He is in the same Winglet as Luna.
