Intro[]
Lasaia is a female BeetleWing dragonet. She resides in an underground city on the edge of Pantala.
Appearance[]
Lasaia is a short, slightly chubby BeetleWing with darker cyan scales and splotches of teal here and there. Her face fades to lighter teal, and her eyes are a warm dark brown. Her butterfly shaped wings are a pretty cyan gradient with a dark navy blue pattern and a white lining along the top edges of her wings. Her underbelly is a light blue with spots of cyan. She normally has a look of contemplation on her face.
Personality[]
Lasaia is normally looking off into space and distracted, thinking about what plants and animals would look like, and wondering what the open air would feel like. She's open-minded and smart, willing to learn, and loves telling fictional stories. Lasaia has always wanted to escape her underground home, but her attempts have all been fails so far. She likes sitting away from other dragons while reading endless scrolls and taking every bit of information in.

Backstory[]
Lasaia grew up in the Sunken City, home of the current BeetleWing population. The BeetleWing queen, Queen Colias, went into hiding with a small portion of the BeetleWings after speaking with Clearsight about the future. She realized that the BeetleWings were going to be bred out of existence and declared that she would not let this happen. She vanished with some of the BeetleWings and went into hiding inside a deep hole on the edge of Pantala, starting to build an underground city farther down in the hole.
At about 4550 AS, Lasaia hatched in her new home. Her mother, Icarus, was standing over her, admiring her every perfection. Icarus had placed a soft looking mint green and golden brown dragonet in front of her. Lasaia knew this was her sister, Callophrys. Her father, Brimstone, was a digger. He worked to dig out tunnels in the underground city. Sadly, he was not present during her hatching.
Lasaia now attends Kaleidoscope Academy, a small school in the Sunken City. She spends most of her days daydreaming, studying hard, and planning to escape the underground city. She discusses her plans with Copper, her best friend. She often gets in trouble with the current queen, Queen Catasticta, for suggesting plans to escape with the school's teachers. She gets weird looks from other dragonets for bringing up those ideas, as they think it's a crazy, stupid thought. As she grows up, she promises that she will dedicate herself to finding a way to escape.
