Lady Darkling Jewel is a young female HiveWing and the Heir to the HiveWing throne
Appearence[]
Darkling gets her name from her pitch black color. However, her wings are blue and purple like Queen Wasp's, and wing veins showing like Lady Jewel's. Her horns are very dark gray, and she has very dark gray wasp-patterns. She also has glittering orange eyes, with small golden flecks on her face and talons. Her underbelly is a dark tawny gold. Darkling wears a copper chain necklace with 3 opals in them - 2 are small and attached to the 1 big opal.
Personality[]
Darkling is rather independent. She would prefer to do everything herself, which is easy because she is continuously ignored and dismissed. Though she like being alone, when she tries to get attention all she is met with is dismissal. Because of this she spends most of her time reading and studying. She enjoys her time alone, but sometimes she just wants a little attention.
If she does become queen, she is fit for the role, however she will have a disadvantage because she likes being alone, so she would not do as well with meetings as much as others - but Darkling can adapt quickly.

Queen Wolf[]
Since she is often avoided and ignored by her mother, Lady Darkling doesnt care for her, and barely knows her own mother. The longest they have been together was when Darkling was a year old, and they were together for 3 days to visit Pollux to be introduce as a new heir of the HiveWings. Darkling is independent, and doesnt really care about her mother's problems. She cares more for the other tribe's queens than her mother, and she is only thankful for being indepenent, smart, regal and NOT a spoiled brat like other royal heirs.
Lady Atta[]
Even though she likes that she uses her power and wealth to help the kingdom, Darkling thinks she is too kind and too generous. Darkling, unlike other dragons, thinks she is hiding something because of her kindness. This makes her suspicious of Atta’s true intentions of just about anything.
Lady Blue[]
She doesnt really know her anonymous aunt, and doesnt really want anything to do with her. She seemed to not like her when she hatched, so Darkling doesnt like her back. She ignores her like most of her family, and tries to avoid her.

Darkling pushes Whitefly away, just like she does with the rest of her family. It seems Darkling dislikes Whitefly almost as much as Lady Blue, because of how naive and 'oddly behaved' she is. Darkling doesnt judge her, but like normal often pushes away her.
