Description	IrisWings are thought to have evolved from a LeafWing / RainWing cross-breeding epidemic. They often have multiple colors, and thick builds. Their horns and ‘crowns’ vary in shapes, and some are born with ruff similar to that of RainWings.
Abilities	Echolocation They can expel Irisin, which is fatal They can rotate their head 270 degrees, much like an owl Ruffhorns are able to learn Magick, which is a power similar to that of an animus Extremely speedy
Location	The Kingdom of Iris is located on a large island, roughly halfway in between Pyrrhia and Pantala. This island is part of the Halfway Archipelago, a collection of islands that house many more tribes than the 10 mentioned in canon. The IrisWings tend to attack most of these tribes (either for resources or to assert dominance), and are respected and feared by the other tribes on the islands.
King	King Fiore (Sex or Gender doesn’t matter when choosing a King)
Diet	They have a mainly herbivorous diet, but many IrisWings eat fish and insects to supplement their diet. Cooked cuisine is standardized, and many of their dishes are extremely spicy.
Alliances	They have strong alliances with the SandWings, RainWings, and LeafWings, but they do have a strictly trade-only alliance with the SeaWings. Outside the canonical universe, they share a strong alliance to the BrokenWings, who live on a island close to theirs in the Halfway Archipelago. They also have an alliance with the LandWings and the CypressWings.

Overview

For a tribe based off of flowers, you would expect the IrisWings to be a tribe of peaceable, docile dragons. Well, if there’s one thing you need to know about them, it’s that they’re not. They are perhaps even the opposite of peaceful, as they are aggressive, militaristic, and spiky little gremlins who never back down from a fight.

Due to them living halfway between Pyrrhia and Pantala, they did not officially fight in the War of SandWing Succession, but there were traveling bands of mercenaries fighting for whoever needed it during the War. They have always maintained a strong alliance with the RainWings and the SandWings, even during the War. The once strong alliance with the SeaWing dwindled to a strictly trade-only alliance after the Battle of the Great Five-Tail River, and the alliance with the LeafWings was made after the founding of the LeafSilk Kingdom. The alliance with the BrokenWings and the CypressWings has a long history, and the three tribe’s reign of chaos on the other Halfway Tribes has been well documented by many scholars. The LandWing alliance is rather new, but is very promising in the terms of trade.
