Blending into the desert sand, their fur is beige with darker “gradients,” almost like the feathers of a canadian goose. Their body is mainly “brindle,” as you would call it. Having a darker ridge, being not as dark as their umber stinger, they appear to look pretty basic. Their tertiary fur markings are slightly darker than their main colour, which makes them appear generic.
Their striped wings are average sized, being not overly broad or narrow. On their ventral side, they are parchment, much like their underbelly and inner ears. Their horns are straight and mushroom grey with a slight tan tint. They appear to look somewhat jaded for some reason. With black eyes with golden irises, their gaze appears to look similar to a solar eclipse.
Typically, they don’t wear anything, especially jewellery which they find worthless and too flamboyant. On rare occasions, they may wear a pouch around their neck.
Having a fairly average build, not being overly muscular or plump, they seem to blend into crowds well, like an ordinary crow would blend in its flock. Due to their mainly monochromatic colouration, you may hardly recognise them, unless you’re extremely close to them. It’s Grouse of the SandWings.

- Their relatives are completely unknown. It’s possible that they’ve either forgotten about them or they died before they met them.
- In their free time, they enjoy carving wood, reading and drawing.
- They highly enjoy romance and horror stories
- They’re highly fond of grouses and pheasants. As animals, not food.
