Appearance:

- umm golden? duh
- quite shimmery scales
- like a watercolour
- ambers and warm colours, maybe a little pink
- heterochromia: one dark eyes with blue highlights and one bright blue eye
- white claws, white horns and white spikes
- pale stripes/patterns (translucent stripes and spots on his neck/back/tail and ‘socks’ on his feet (there are a few stripes before the socks two)
- HiveWing mutt but the SilkWing in him is really old so he basically just looks more shimmery/pretty/slender
- very fragile claws, they break easily
- sharp white teeth
- his only black markings are little spots (like freckles) on and near the end of his tail
- Wing membranes are translucent white with golden veins
- underbelly is whiter then main body but still a warm colour
Personality:

- I reckon he's really shy, and has a slight stammer.
- Really likes treasure because it makes him feel special.
- Actually quite clever but doesn't think he is.
- Golden has a nervous twitch, and is a vegetarian.

- Is really creeped out by scavengers after one tried to kill him when he was playing a little way from his family. They were having a picnic in the savanna with some other HiveWing families and he wandered away. He stumbled upon a scavenger and tried to play with it, but the scavenger attacked him. His family heard his cries and rescued him from the scavenger, who managed to get away. Golden escaped with only minor injuries that healed over nicely.

Backstory:

(To SilkWings who think he's mind-controllable:)"I'm a h-hybrid. Yes. Not a HiveWing. No, n-not me."
- Had an older brother who pushes him around a lot, and his parents were often so busy that they don't notice.
- They all lived in Bloodworm Hive
- Went to a school sort of thing, but they didn't have any courses for a musician, which was what he wanted to be, so he was put into soldier training. He hated it and the instructor picked on his because he was the weakest and most reluctant.

- and he hated it. He always tried to stay away from any action so he hopefully wouldn’t be used
- He was really unhappy with his schooling but couldn't find the courage to leave.
- His brother told him he wasn't a good HiveWing, and that SilkWings were more fierce than he was. he had serious self esteem problems because of this and anxiety
- he was liked by all the SilkWing servants in the house because he was 'cute' and gentle. Unfortunately that just made his brother's comments worse.
- Despite this he was never angry at them. He just wished they wouldn’t talk to him in front of his brother and give him sweets and that sort of thing when his family were around.
- When his hive was burned down, Golden lost his family and was found by a SilkWing, who stopped him from joining the rest of the Hive when he went Hive-mind. She held him down with silk and when it was over she released him. She told him that she wouldn’t let the queen win. Golden didn’t know it, but he reminded her of her own son, who had also been lost in the burning of Bloodworm Hive.
- She joined up with the other escaped SilkWings and together they escaped from the Breath of Evil on a raft.

- Io really scared him, and he stayed away from The Boss Dragons. He wished he could talk to Cricket, the only other HiveWing (besides Bumblebee, but she was a baby), but his SilkWing told him that she was too clever and would probably figure out his secret.
- Golden disliked the rafts and was often sea sick, but he was grateful that he was escaping and didn’t complain. He was actually quite good at getting fish, which he was happy about because he didn’t particularly like the stale rations he was given. He appreciated it of course, but he was glad to have something fresh as well.
- In the Ice Kingdom he hunted what he could. He found it easier then the LeafWings because of his colouration. He enjoyed the snow but disliked the cold, and in the evenings he and his SilkWing would curl up together to stay warm.
- he’s really worried that he will be controlled and forced to hurt someone or hurt the SilkWing who found him
- he’s also concerned that he’ll be found out by the other refugees and will be hurt or imprisoned by them
