Fyrain doesn't look like a hybrid. He looks like any old LightWing, even though he is very small. But he is half-SkyWing, a fact shown in the fire reflected in his eyes as he hunts down his mother's killer.
Appearance[]
Fyrain is light green like the bud of a flower in springtime. His wings are rainbow, and so are the horns that so down his sides, and on his snout. His eyes are large and dark like obsidian stones, and his horns are as black as the darkest night. His white claws shimmer like fresh fallen snow, and his long horns going down his back are as dark as mahogany trees. He is small for his age, but will grow larger in later years.
Personality[]
Fyrain is very upright. Even though he misses his mother every day and wants to get revenge on Ignit, the animus who killed his mother, he refuses to kill another dragon. He just wants to find a way to take her magic away. He is a good listener. His friend Chestnut knows that he can tell Fyrain anything because he is such a good listener. He is also independent. After his mother died, he learned to fend for himself, even though Luna adopted him. He loves her, but he knows that she can't fill the gap in his heart that has been there ever since his mother died. Fyrain is sympathetic. He knows what it feels like to lose something close to your heart, so he tries to comfort dragons whenever he sees them having a hard time. He is ambitious in the hunt for his mother's killer, and won't stop until he finds her.
Fyrain is naive. He doesn't know much about the outside world and how terrible it is. He is single-minded about his mother's killer. All he knows is that Ignit killed his mom. He doesn't know much else except that, and even if he got new information, he wouldn't stop hunting for her. He is fanatical about the ways he will take away Ignit's magic. He knows it's impossible, and he keeps having wild fantasies about how he's going to find her and take away her magic.
Abilities[]
Fyrain is not like the other LightWings. He doesn't have the mirror scales under his wings that practically make him a LightWing. He's still tolerant to pain though. And he has one skill that shows that he is half-SkyWing: he can breathe fire. This fact comes as a shock to most other dragons, since he has no other SkyWing characteristics at all. When other dragons think they have the upper hand in battle; fire to the face!
Since he is so small he is also able to wiggle out of an opponent's grasp.
