Dungbeetle was an adult female WorkWing. She tried to convince her Amethyst Dune ruling mother to aid in the Othermind issue more carefully, eventually given the reigns and working with Pharaoh to combat the plant. Form her work her mother was overthrown and she was crowned. She faced a short rivalry with her afterwards that ended in her mother's death in a fight. She made a change that eventually allowed anyone to run for Dune Queenship, polling from the Vague.
Appearance[]
Dungbeetle had red-orange and purple scales. She is larger than her mother.
Personality[]
Dungbeetle disliked putting things to the side unlike her mother and wanted to help others. She was determined and hardworking, noted to be a rather fast moving leader in solving issues. She can grow a temper seeing others hurt.
Biography[]
Dungbeetle for the longest time remained simply a heir to her mother. She was mentioned to never had been intended to inherit throne. Despite this she was rather popular and beloved by her community.
When the breath of evil spiked in strength near a SilkWing village, she wished to help them. Her mother tried to keep her out of the ordeal but her curiousity led to her learning about it from Pharaoh. She helped with the project to clear the plant, though all was disorganized from the queen's lack of interest. After the operation was entrusted to Dungbeetle out of spite, she worked with Pharaoh to properly coordinate dragons ensuring flamesilks and firebreathers didn't catch others in fires.
After the plant was cleared, many WorkWings would begin to rise against the Amethyst Queen, eventually ending in her being thrown out and replaced with Dungbeetle.
Dungbeetle's life was originally smooth sailing until she began to have small hints her mother is targeting her for the throne. From an assassinaton attempt stopped by Pharaoh to many letters, she decided to end the feud to protect ones dearest to her. She met at the tip of Two Claw Mountain, the location of WorkWing Succession Challenges, to fight her mother. Bringing an audience, she won, her mother being gone for good. In light of this she advocated for a change that allowed anyone who gained favor from the Vague and won a community poll could be a dune queen.

Mother[]
Dungbeetle didn't entirely hate her mother initially. She grew frustrated with her often but still loved her and hoped she would listen to her. After she lost the throne and tried to kill her, she grew apathetic to her mother, only slightly sorrowed at her death.
Pharaoh[]
Dungbeetle views Pharaoh as her closest friend. Having similar ideas she found Pharaoh an amazing dragon, setting him as a member of her council.
