A whimsical figure. Fleeting. Mysterious. And though everyone says she was born but a few years ago, all can agree she is timeless. How long will she last, this dreamy dragonet with a fragile body? And when she disappears, how long will it be before dragons start to say she never existed at all, except in our imaginations?
These are the consequences of uncontrolled animus magic, for if one tries to create an egg using magic, all will go wrong. Replacable eyes? Rubber claws? Who knows what will come next, for if one tries to create a daughter using magic, all will be thrown into disarray.

- when she gets excited, her eyes fall out, but they always grow back by the next day.
- her claws (light reddish-pink) cant do much damage bc theyre made of rubber...
- wingbuds are already half-open and slightly deformed, doctor said they will most likely never grow into wings
- always has little puppets on her talons

- convinced that she can talk to bugs and spends hours at a time whispering nonsense to insects on walls and in her mother's garden. when she was hatched she was bitten by a mosquito, and always tells them to "smell the barbecue"

- she cant read well bc she doesnt do well in baby silkwing school and has trouble concentrating/paying attention to things for more than a few minutes, she would much rather be watching butterlfies.
- she has dyslexia, adhd and autism
- speaks weirdly, and even her mother can't understand her well. said mother doesnt really care about dance tho.
- loves dancing :3 like, really loves dancing. sometimes she ends up at a party, dancing away.
H I S T O R Y
- when her father atlas found out that pieris was with egg he just went "nigerundayo" like good ol' joseph joestar, so that left pieris alone with an eggo
- pieris had the egg during work :0 so her mistress had to get her to somewhere private
- dance's egg was cracked when it was laid and pieris thought dance wouldnt make it but nope, dance hatched like any other dragonet, though with some...differences.
- when dance was enrolled in school, she was given special language classes. her teacher lady hated her but like, you know dance, she didn't care. so lady tried his best to make dance's life horrible but nahh thats impossible
- pieris mostly just went "theres food on the table" and went to work. every so often she stops by dance's school to make sure that goofy daughter of hers is alive
- on dance's first birthday pieris found out that atlas was an animus from rumors she picked up on her way to and from work. she dug deeper and realized that dance was a fake dragonet created using animus magic
- meawhile, atlas, one year after he ran away from his artificially-created daughter, landed a job as the principal of dance's school :0 and dance approached him one day and went "do you know anything about my father"
- good old dance is smarter than she seems, and goofy as she is, she managed to get some information out of atlas, though she still didn't know he was her father.
- so now dance knows that atlas enchanted pieris because he wanted a daughter, but later changed his mind. he was too panicky about losing his soul to reverse the spell or something, so he just ran away bc he knew pieris would be mad.
- and boy was she mad when dance told her...but she still loved atlas, somehow.
- by the way no one ever told dance her principal was her father so she still doesnt know-
