Cyrogladiator is an adult female WorkWing and the current queen of Magma Dune. She is an excellent blacksmith and a great warrior, many holding her as the perfect representation of the dune since Commander Pharaoh. She patented the latest WorkWing armor after making with her late husband.
Appearance[]
Cyrogladiator has black scales flared with shades of fiery red and orange throughout her body with a yellow underbelly. Her horns curl forward at the tip away from her face. She has multiple scars, one of which is a chip of her mouth from HiveWing acid making her teeth constantly stick out. She is huge for her age and very muscular.
Personality[]
Cyrogladiator is hard-working, intimidating and relentless. She occasionally gets into arguments with others and is rather hotheaded. Though she is humble, often trying her best to improve herself and rid of negative traits. She is altruistic, putting others first before her. She takes pride in the dragons she trains, her winglets, though is willing to go easier if they're not feeling well. She can quietly hold grudges, never usually acting on them though they tend to permanently warp her perception of others.
Biography[]
Cyrogladiator was the second to hatch to Rubysnapper out of her siblings. She grew jealous of Ruby's favoritism of Goldenwhisperer, believing she's more fit to rule instead. She won many racing and rock sculpting tournaments, getting an official license to forge at a very young age. She impressed the at the time Magma Dune queen, she herself requesting a piece of jewelry to be made. After a few rough attempts, Cyro made the Silver Vine, a ring around the entire arm that would be officially established in the royal treasury. She also partook in sports, but only in her last two did her team win as she kept interrupting teamwork efforts that would've won them games.
After spending a few years in her forging job, she would, under request of her family, begin to enter the army. She eventually became a general of her winglet, leading them into the Tree Wars. At the LeafWing Banishment, she helped the majority of dragons safely evacuate.
Her save would eventually grant her with the head of the Magma Guard. Sometime during this she was paired with a noble family's eldest son in order to connect them as the nobles promised treasure and connections to descendants of infamous WorkWings. Cyrogladiator didn't want to be engaged but was forced to. 2 years later her husband would die in a skirmish from stray WorkWings and HiveWings, having Andesitecarver at this time.
A year later she won queenship after being endorsed by the previous Magma Dune queen in her will and Goldenwhisperer as well as gained the majority of votes. Andesitecarver would hatch this year.
Relationships[]
Rubysnapper[]
Cyrogladiator is close to her mother, loving her greatly. She only wishes Ruby chose her for the throne instead as she finds herself a perfect fit for the crown. However after asking a few times, she slightly respected her decision with a pinch of salt.
Husband[]
Cyrogladiator and her husband didn't entirely get along well. They were only arranged between the royal and noble family, mainly by the nobles to have a better chance of attaining vague royalty. She didn't hate him, sometimes have good moments they bonded over, and sometimes sprouting into short arguments. His death brought both relief and sorrow as she missed him. She considered him to be better as a friend.
Andesitecarver[]
Cyrogladiator loves her son. She often sees him as the one benefit from the noble marital arrangement. She often champions his milestones and work, even bragging to others. She scorns it when someone associates Andesitecarver with her husband's family, though never publicly separates them as her elders would despise her.
Oakburner[]
Oakburner is a peer of Cyrogladiator and one of her closest friends. She was turned under Oakburner for a small peroid, particularly learning how to slash quickly and precisely. She often refers to him when others ask questions about her training.
Goldenwhisperer[]
Goldenwhisperer loves her sister as much as she loves to make her jealous of her known. She believed Goldenwhisperer would and still is going to be a terrible ruler and instead personally wants to be crowned. She is slightly content at her queen position and remotely respects the decision, but still wishes their mother chose her instead.
Jadeshoving[]
Cyro admires Jadeshoving in her work. She sees Jade was a practical mother figure, looking to her when she is struck with a difficult dune issue. Out of other dune queens, Jade is her favorite.
Azulwashing[]
Cyro loves her sister, visibly more than she does Goldenwhisperer, but finds her work boring. While she takes an interest into pill bugs and milipedes, she doesn't like listening to her extended rants and discoveries.
Pharaoh[]
Pharaoh the dragon Cyrogladiator ironically interacted the least one. Despite her mother often flaunting her and her siblings around her, Cyro didn't take a liking to Pharaoh at all. She feels ambivalent about her, not necessarily hating her but not liking her either. Not counting the vague, she's Cyro's least favorite queen.
Elders[]
Her great aunts and uncles favor Cyrogladiator the second, only bested by Azulwashing. They're more lenient to her than Goldenwhisperer but not enough to not mind Cyrogladiator's feelings about her marital arrangement.

- Cyrogladiator's name is a combination of the shortened version of cyrovolcano and gladiator.
- Cyrovolcano is a valid prefix as it is a type of volcano which produces/contains igneous rocks.
- Cyrogladiator's original name was Cyrobreaker.
- Cyrogladiator's favorite appetizers are Potato Bugs.
