appearance
a petite, dainty hybrid with a lithe and delicate frame, coronet shines as brightly as his namesake and is as cold as a winter wind in demeanor.
coronet is mainly a pale, icy blue in color. his limbs and upper scales fade into a darker blue. the fade is uneven, almost resembling clouds.
on his back and tail are the sharp spikes of an icewing, the same darker blue as his extremities. his spikes fade into white with a small stripe as a barrier on each individual spike. despite his abundance of spikes, he walks extremely quietly, near-silently, in fact.
he has a very pretty face, model-pretty by most standards, with a thin snout and finely sculpted features. his eyes are almond-shaped and are very large, a clear, wintry dark blue color with incredibly long eyelashes and substantial eye bags.
a smattering of starry freckles with the occasional constellation adorns his thin, elegant snout and limbs, driven-snow-white. underneath each of his eyes is a crescent moon, curving across his cheeks. crescents also run down either side of his body, twinkling and catching the light whenever he moves.
he carries himself with grace, almost catlike in his movements. his tail often swishes behind him as he walks and raises when his curiosity is piqued-again, like a cat.
coronet's ears are floppy and resemble bat ears, double-pierced with silvery-blue earrings. he also wears a choker with a moon-shaped charm, and he has two piercings in his left eyebrow. he can often be seen wearing an extremely oversized red letterman jacket-his boyfriend's, obviously. he has to push up the sleeves in order to actually be able to use his talons.
he is hyperopic, and requires glasses to see things that are close to him clearly. his glasses are silver and rectangular, and he affixes them to his ears via earring chains.
personality
despite his sparkly, almost faerie-prince-like looks, coronet has a bit of a reputation as a sarcastic and cold ice king, a very well-deserved reputation.
he's incredibly socially awkward due to his autism, which was ignored and pushed down by the adults around him-"why can't you just act normal" was a common phrase said to coronet when he was small.
he prefers to be alone and has very few friends because of his extreme introversion. he has built up emotional walls due to extreme abuse from his mother, and he detests letting others in.
although he usually hates being touched, he enjoys physical affection from his boyfriend, almost craving it. coronet loves being held, but will make his distaste known if he decides he doesn't want to be touched right now, much like a cat. in fact, he's very catlike in demeanor. his quietness, his snark, his introversion-all of it brings to mind a cat.

history
hatched to lady euclase and her now ex-husband hoshi, coronet was very clearly unwanted by his mother. euclase willingly gave custody to hoshi, who took coronet to live in the night kingdom with him.
hoshi was...an alright father to coronet. he tried his best to comfort his son when he came home in tears from school nearly every day, but he didn't do anything besides tell coronet to just ignore it.
so, coronet's existence was monotonous. the days blurred together until one day, where he discovered hoshi dead from a sudden heart attack, traumatizing the then nine (HY) year old dragonet.
sent to live with his mother, coronet was...afraid. he didn't know if she even cared about him.
unfortunately, euclase did not care about him.
coronet tried his best to please euclase, but nothing seemed to make her happy. she would scream at him and hit him, and her rage was only exacerbated when she was drunk.
he started rarely leaving his room for anything except for school, which was just fine by euclase.
relationships
- ashstrike (owned by kiara): coronet's one-time elementary school bully and beloved boyfriend. despite the two outwardly bickering like an old married couple and exchanging affectionate insults and pet names with equal frequency, coronet really does love ash and vice versa-flaws and all.
- euclase: coronet's mother and the dragon he hates the most in the world. during euclase and hoshi's divorce, euclase wanted nothing to do with coronet due to him not being the daughter she wanted. unfortunately, when hoshi died, euclase automatically took custody. she was an unfit and abusive mother in every sense of the word, especially when she was drunk, often leaving coronet with both physical and emotional scars.
- hoshi: coronet's father and the dragon he lived with during his elementary school years. hoshi wasn't the best father, but he was certainly better than euclase. while mostly absent physically, hoshi tried his best to be there for his son when needed. however, he wasn't really there enough...
