This is a slight AU thing, but not in the time of Darkstalker. It's (around) when he broke out of the mountain.
Prologue[]
Clearsight new she would die any moment. Her foresight was getting horrible every moment. So she decided to rest in Pyrrhia, as she wanted a small glimpse of what the continent looked like after a while.
She looked around. Ice kingdom there, Night kingdom there, and here was the Sand Kingdom. Nothing looked entirely different, she flew a bit higher. In the distance she could see the Rain Kingdom, and the Sky Kingdom. And waaay far out was the Mud Kingdom and Sea Kingdom. And there, it was,2 Jade Mountain, and there, Agate Mountain. She squinted her eyes. Nothing. No movement at all. She had actually stopped Darkstalker!
She turned back. but was to tired to fly any longer. She looked down and saw a rock ledge with two big palm trees over it.
She slowly glided down and laid on it, soft sand transitioning to a rough rock. She rested her head carefully on her talons and flopped her wings to her side. She curled her tail around the rock and remembered every good moment she had in life.
Clearsight felt like she had enough, and nothing would happen to her beyond this point. She slowly faded, as sad as it was, it would have to happen at one point.
Before she ended, a flash, so hard to remember but so clear- There a dragon. A clear, snow white, wingless NightWing, claws that looked like the were dipped in darkness. She had black freckles on her snout, and where her wings should be. She stood cowardly, crying. NightWings pointed at her yelling and kicking.
Clearsight was ending, but was going to be still here.
Chapter One: He's Here[]
Halo swept around the forest floor covered in twigs and leaves, trying too stay hidden from the NightWings, although she was one. The forest floor was rough in dirt and grass, and small animals and insects she had accidently stepped on ran in fear. But, just the animals, mostly, since insects and bugs didn't really have a chance. She did know about nice NightWings here, but she would never be allowed to have a friend. So all she had was her nose ring. Seemed odd, but it was one of her most treasured items. Why? Well, because it has a beautiful topaz gem in it. She'd be looking every inch and corner of the rainforest, just to find it again.
She peaked out of a sharp bush to see what was happening. But in front of her wasn't a village she looked up to see a huge, muscular NightWing standing before her. The NightWing growled and picked her up. He was huge and had armor on. His scales where a jet black and he had a purple snout. His eyes were a glowing green, and his horns , spikes, and claws were all a dim gray. A small clink sound could be heard, though, Halo didn't think much of it. It could have just been the NightWing's armor clicking together.
She was thrown to the floor in front of a whole bunch of the NightWings that picked on her. Dark colors, green, blue, purple, black, had all blended in with the deep dark night sky. They were almost all invisible. She looked up and saw all the NightWIngs around her. Their eyes were also all beautiful colors, yet they were all for the meanest of dragons.
… It hurt.
They threw Halo out. Pain streaming through her back, "STAY OUT ICE EATER! INCLUDING THE FOREST!" One of them yelled. She heard deep roaring and growling. She ran away deep into the forest, wiping her tears. Trees and branches smacked her legs and horns, as well as leaves and bushes, bugs and flowers. She came to the edge or the kingdom, the ocean, and cowered in ball. She looked back and heard laughing.
"You're special" blah blah blah.. Yeah right She thought with a sniffle. I shouldn't have listened.. She thought, standing up and walking to the nearest palm tree. Her claws spread apart in the soft sand, if felt nice, and wasn't as rough as the rainforest floor. She climbed it, stabbing her claws in place so she didn't fall. It felt rough, like it had plated scales that wrapped around the tree, and had no curve to it. Halo cleanly ripped three leaves off and jumped down. She tied them together with a couple of long blades of grass and curled up in it, the leaves acting as a blanket.
Though, she couldn't sleep. Not because of... What happened earlier, or the floor, or anything like that, but because she heard two, inaudible whispers. No one was there though, and she probably would've known if it was a RainWing, since she would've been blown in the face with sand, and seen footprints. It felt cold, she wanted to make a campfire, but she'd probably burn down the rainforest if she used her "fire".
She stayed for a while. Twisting and turning. No position felt right to her. The whispers faded with crickets chirping, birds calling, trees rustling, grass brushing, waves crashing, and frogs croaking.
Before she dreamt off, she was immediately awoken when she heard a crash and rumble to her left. She opened her eyes in a flash. Maybe she did sleep, just she hadn't realized it, because the sky was clear and beautiful, no clouds in the clearing. she wished she was up there, though. She poked her "wing buds" or her shoulders.
She leapt to her feet and ran towards Jade Mountain. She heard a school was going on there, but she was told she couldn't go, she still doesn't know why, was it still because of her disgrace of being a NightWing? She'll probably never
Unlike normal dragons, Halo could run for long time periods. She used this since she had no wings. Running to Jade Mountain didn't take long. She slid to a stop, and her jaw dropped. A HUGE NightWing had broken out of Agate Mountain. Bigger than the biggest NightWing. Rocks had still been being split and falling, ground still had a slight rumble to it. Oh nonononono! He'll surely kill me! I'm an albino NightWing! He'll think I'm an IceWing! She whimpered, thinking about all the ways this huge... Monster NightWing could kill her.
A clumsy green SeaWing ran down behind a log and grabbed a stick and whispered to it. He then shoved it in his neck pouch, ducking down. Okaaay, at least it's not as weird as this huge dragon! I mean, what can whispering to a stick do!? She thought staring at the SeaWing, he glanced at her, but she took her eyes off him quickly and laid eyes on the big NightWing.
The giant dragon had broken completely free of Agate Mountain, and somehow, he looked at Halo. Watching her. She felt odd. Like she had been enchanted by magic.
A-Animus magic? Do I feel the same? Do I look the same? Halo thought worriedly. No.. She remembered everything.. Hopefully. Nothing was missing. Why did he do that then?
"GO" Said a Shivering voice, though, not the giant dragon's. "GO!" It said again. She didn't know what that was, but she immediately sprinted off back to the rainforest, even though she was told not to be there anymore. She turned back one more time. The dragon still watching her. Fear fell down her spine as she turned back.
