Appearance[]
Caveatte is covered with very pale grey scales partially from the bottom. She has two completely white, pupilless eyes on the left side of her face, one larger and the smaller one is due to mutation at hatching. Right side once had an average sized pupilless eye, but after the snake had eaten it, there is just a red scabby crater thinly covering bones. Smaller mutated eye on the left side is blind and not useful. The right side of her face's eye was ripped out by a snake and eaten. She wears a translucent scarf sometimes and has a long neck, dark grey horns and her tail ends with elegant fluff. When she is hypnotising people, her eyes go swirly and black and white. Upper half of her body is fuzzy and a pale grey, she appears to be some form of Eastern Dragon, minus whiskers and religious overshadowing. She is long and slender, and her ribcage bones are slightly bulging at her sides, which is not caused by starvation but by genetics passed down from her father. NOTE: with basefills, if you cannot do gore or any details like the extra eye or whatever, I suggest you go without. :)
Personality[]
Caveatte always seems to look lost or lonely and has a weary and sad aura about her. She always thinks she's a monster and cries for the ones who she murders. Sometimes she doesn't feel like she's in control at all and tried to stab herself before (didn't work, still alive) and was abandoned when she was a little dragonet. Nobody seemed to ever care about her. Whenever she hypnotises people, if you look closely then you see the hint of sadness in her white eyes. She cares about nature and was surprised when the albino python leapt up at her and bit her eye. She has scratches and burns from the fights with other murderers, serial killers, assassins... you know. She has a strong sense of humour (its a bit dark but humour nonetheless) and likes looking at eyes. She wants to make friends, yet doesn't. Resembles most of my negative traits but some hidden positive ones too. Very hopeful about the future and is an optimistic nihilist. Can sing, and her voice is beautiful in some form of melancholy way, but her voice cracks when she speaks of love and understanding and you would almost assume this terrifying reptile is lacking those in her life. She hates her appearance, and finds her mutation and boniness disgusting and unattractive. She feels strong self-hate towards herself and all her mirrors are cracked from the times she punched them in agony at her appearance. But beneath her troubled expression, she is a truly brilliant dragon, and elegant as she is smart. Do not underestimate her, whatever her mental state.
Abilities[]
- Hypnosis: with her eyes. No, not eye candy.
- Illusions: she can summon up weak illusions into dragon minds.
- Skilled Weaponry: can quickly and efficiently handle knives, daggers or even sharpened stones and twigs.
- Speed: fast
- Agility: um... agile
- Light Combat Abilities: due to her lithe build, she can easily kick, punch and injure enemies and is a dab hand at karate. Not too good at strength related battles, as her muscles are average and genuinely not too much use in a battle.
History[]
Cav was abandoned at hatching and cared for herself in the forest. She was bullied as a dragonet for her mutation and left the forest for the desert because she didn't feel safe in the forest. She met a great egret and befriended it and they escaped together. She went way too close to a snake (an albino ball python, her symbol, symbolizes her tryna suicide later on) and it jumpeth on her and ate her right eye. When she was in the desert she had this random moment where she was like, "Woah why I be here what I be doing" and ran back to the forest. Cav doesn't really have a reason for anything she does. She just does it and then afterwards has a moment of enlightenment and asks herself 'what the actual hell have I been doing'. She became an assassin for Kīlauea the SkyWing dude who likes Xerus but is like the absolute worst boyfriend anyone would have. No offense but he's crap at romance. Anyways, she then has her realis-y thing (last one, I think) and becomes a murderer to all those who have wronged her. The goofy idiot thinks she's a monster and tries to kill herself. She fails and then finally makes a good choice by going to get life help. She did. A few years later, happy dragon living in a nice hut in the forest with a nest of baby egrets to look after, selling all her weapons. But therapy can't magically cure her, and she remains in a (significantly less violent) battle with herself.
Health[]
This paragraph is all about the mental health of Caveatte. She used to have agoraphobia during the time of her escape from the forests, because of how excluded she felt. The other dragonets thought she looked grotesque, and made fun of her and isolated her from socialisation. She felt as if that place was filled with things that would harm her like the others did and wanted to escape as soon as possible. She also has BDD, because of her scars and eye mutation, as well as the abnormal colour of the eyes, and her slenderness. She thought she looked limp compared to the other dragonets, and unhealthily skinny. Cav has and had depression disorder, though in the present it is weakened by the happier environment she is in, where she didn't take part in social events that caused joy, and usually was in a slump somewhere reading old books. Right now she has decreased versions of these disorders, and absolutely no agoraphobia. The kind Skywing therapist says Cav's mental health has improved a lot from the time of her childhood and job as an asassin.

Fun Facts[]
- Caveatte's name is derived from caveat, which means 'a warning or caution', and is also a kind of font on Microsoft Word (just a fun fact XD)
- Caveatte's colour palette is indirectly the opposite of Rozeline's, as Caveatte's palette is grey, black and other neutral tones
- Quote at the very beginning is her talking to herself, after the python bites her eye. The bitten eye is located on the right side and the left side of her face (the side with the mutation) is completely unaffected
- Two Time by Jack Stauber was chosen as her theme song because a) OC creator loves Jack Stauber's music and b) the lyrics symbolise a kind of disharmony between Cav and herself, and for a very long period of time; whether to end her own life, or to not.
- Thankfully, though Cav still isn't completely happy with herself (therapy can only do so much), she has decided she won't ever try suicide again.
