Caddisfly is completely loyal to the HiveWings but despises the SilkWings.
Personality[]
Caddisfly is a confident, self-assured dragon. Since she was three years old and really old enough to understand complicated things, she has despised the SilkWings, whom she calls “weak, cowardly, and stupid.” She acts like she isn’t a hybrid at all, and is completely loyal to the HiveWings. She ignores her SilkWing mother when she asks for things, but listened to her HiveWing father while he was alive.
Appearance[]
Caddisfly’s features show almost no sign that she’s half SilkWing. She has black stripes on her yellow snout, and scattered black scales along her yellow back and tail. She has wings that are slightly more round and larger than normal HiveWing wings, and she has short, useless antennae – traits from her mother. Also, to her extreme annoyance, she has a pattern of rainbow stripes twirling around her tail and a few pink spots on the undersides of her wings.
Abilities[]
Caddisfly has paralyzing stingers that slide out from under her claws. She is not hesitant to use them. She is loyal to the HiveWings, up to the point where she’d attack a dragon for insulting them – which can be bad, but also proves her loyalty.
History[]
Caddisfly was born in Bloodworm Hive. She barely escaped in time to live when it burned, and her father never made it out. Since then, she’s always wanted revenge on the LeafWings. Her mother tried to start a new life in Jewel Hive for them, but Caddisfly left and went to Mantis Hive to be far away from her mother. She is now a guard in Mantis Hive.
Relationships[]
Emerald[]
Caddisfly strongly dislikes her mother and ignores her. Emerald wants Caddisfly to care about her, since she cares about Caddisfly, but all her attempts have failed.
Ant[]
Caddisfly loved her dad – well, as much as she could have loved anybody. She was heartbroken-ish when he died, but more angry than sad. She listened to and obeyed him.
Honeycomb[]
Kind-of-sort-of friend, kind-of-maybe girlfriend. Caddisfly has a hard time getting mad at Honeycomb, and shows signs of affection to her like giving her small, thoughtful gifts, but will deny their friendship if anyone asks.
Queen Wasp[]
Caddisfly practically worshipped Wasp. She was loyal to her and did whatever she ordered. She begged her to add her to the mind control, which Queen Wasp finally did, even though Caddisfly is a hybrid. Caddisfly was beyond upset when Queen Wasp was replaced.
Queen Jewel[]
Caddisfly dislikes Jewel. She is mad at her for replacing Wasp, and is more reluctant to obey her. However, she remains loyal to the HiveWings.
