🫐 Boophis 🫐 THIS CHARACTER IS A PART OF THE SFAU Boophis is Ursa's handyman on her ship and her surrogate uncle, a SeaWing/MudWing who's heart is as big as his stomach. He is cismale and uses He/Him pronouns. He is straight. His SpiritFlower is a Water Lily and is located on his Chestpiece. He is based off of the Spiritfarer character Atul Appearance
Personality As stubborn as he is joyful, Boophis is very handy, and would never pass up a good meal. He is very extroverted, enjoying both engaging in and starting social interaction. He is very outgoing and open-minded, with his lively approach to life, he strives to look on the bright side and enjoy everything that he can, like a more optimistic and friendly approach of Carpe Diem. He loves making people laugh and making new friends, and spends a lot of time outside, helping the best he can. He looks to not only enrich his relationships but everyone's lives to the best of his ability, trying to make everyone he can happy. Even though he is not Ursa's biological uncle, it seems this humanitarian obligation to help runs in the family. Boophis is a very creative and curious dragon, constantly bringing new ideas to the table on how to help the boat and it's crewmates. Not only that but he loves solving problems and finding/experiencing new things. He feels that this defines him as a dragon, his ability to solve problems and look for more. He also has a very introspected mind deep down, and usually ponders about his place in both the universe, and other people's lives. It doesn't consume him, it's more of a pass-time, something to do to wake him up or occupy himself. Unlike MudWings, which he is only half of, he is reasonably competent and tries to at least look so, though he definitely inherited a Mud's appetite, since he's constantly looking for new foods and tasty snacks to try. He believes that even though he only seeks pleasures for himself and his friends, he does it since he wants to make people feel safe and happy, just as he did during his mortal days. He believes every life matters and that no one is unimportant, making him a very good counsel for those with self-doubt or self-hate. Because of the environment that he grew up in, he developed a permanent obligation to get things done, such as fix things on the boat or complete a collection he started. Often times he can grow restless without something to do, so Ursa tries her best to occupy him with bucket-lists she makes for him that he completes in less than a day (And they're composed of, like, 15 things on there) He also shows great pride in his competence in wood-work, showing his prowess from whittling to constructing entire houses for Ursa. He is very handy and can fix (or make) practically anything with/out of wood. He even has his own little saw-machine at home for making his own planks for Ursa. Most of the time he can be seen hammering some nails into a broken board or replacing a rotting plank on the ship without Ursa even asking him to. However, for one, he hates being ignored or dislike, and ends up making himself look like quite the people-pleaser. He himself knows this, even addressing it by calling himself "Mr. Personality". He doesn't think of it as a flaw, since he sees himself as simply doing his best to make everyone happy, but he can come across as a Boot-kisser, sucking up to dragons even though he's just trying to help. He can also be too optimistic at times, and some people may find his cheery view of life obnoxious and careless. He also has a hard time focusing and staying still because of his natural drive to constantly get things done. He is very stubborn as well, as when is mind or heart is set on something, you'll have a very hard time trying to get it off of it. Abilities
