- talon-to-talon combat - specialization in grappling and leverage, can easily defeat opponents twice his size
- Benthos is a talented cook, he's familiar all types of meats from seafood to livestock. This skills formed out of need since both of his parents are often busy and cook bland food. Due to this capability, he's picky with what he eats, and often makes his own food due to his narrow preferences.

- Benthos is an aspiring scientist. He's interested in the mind and brain, and due to his education, he's capable of first aid and familiar with all kinds of medicines.
Weaknesses[]
- Despite being mostly SeaWing, Benthos is a poor swimmer due to his NightWing heritage being more dominant.
- Benthos is incredibly stubborn, he has strong morals, confidence, and strength to back up his will, so he's incredibly difficult to dissuade.
- Benthos can be extremely childish and insensitive. He's aware of this and doesn't care. Other dragons are often annoyed and offended but don't often confront him due to his personality.

Stargazer - positive[]
Stargazer is Benthos' father. He really respects his dad, and appreciates him for the strength and wisdom he's imparted onto Benthos. His father taught him many important life lessons, however his conspiracy theories are often...confusing and frustrating.
Echo - positive/negative[]
Echo is his mother. They argue a lot, over tiny things, and big things. They're both stubborn and often butt heads. However Benthos still appreciates his mother despite her extreme helicoptering tendencies.
Neon - positive[]
Neon is his little sister. She's really stupid and smart at the same time in the most infuriating ways. Sometimes it seems like the only thing in her noggin is a hamster, as common sense seems to be a fleeting concept, but other times she's incredible intelligent. It's confusing and annoying, but he still loves her anyways.

- The poor swimming weakness is a fact, he can brute force it with his muscles, but if he stops for a second he sinks like a rock. It's actually kinda funny.
