Beetle is a Silk/HiveWing hybrid born 235 years after Arc 1. He is in the SilkWing slot of the Ruby winglet in jade mountain academy. He is a Flamesilk.
Appearance[]
Beetle looks almost completely like a Silkwing but is a obvious hybrid by the black scales that silkwings never have. he shares a similar color scheme to his father Fireant. he has stingers that can extend from his wrists and small stingers that extend from the pointing,ring and middle claws on his front talons.
Personality[]
Beetle is kind and loves making people happy. His friends are Snapper (a seawing dragonet) vantablack (a rainwing) and Order (a nightwing dragonet). He enjoys reading books and slightly dislikes anyone who says they're irrelevant. Before his metamorphosis He had always wanted to be a famesilk. He is dangerous and fierce towards anyone who hurts the dragons he loves and has romantic feelings for Galaxy.
Biography[]
Beetle is the son of Cymothoe and Fireant and future father of Firefly.
History[]
Beetle was born in the Jewl hive after Cymothoe met Fireant when she was making biscuits for his sister, Lady Pheidole. Fireant quickly fell in love with Cimothoe and (having no care for royal politics) married her.
After three years in the Jewl hive, Beetle decided he wanted to learn about the other tribes at Jade Mountain Academy. After being sorted into the Ruby winglet, he became clawmates with Snapper and befriended him quickly.
Relationships[]
Snapper[]
Snapper is one of Beetle's greatest and first freinds. After spending time together they learned they had very similar interest., even though they disagree on many subjects as well, they never loose their friendship.
Vantablack[]
Vantablack is the funniest Dragon Beetle has ever met, although sometimes his jokes go to too far. Him and Order are close friends but they also knew Snapper well enough that Beetle became good friends with them too.
Order[]
Beetle always felt a strange repellent from Order. Sometimes he is funny and welcomes beetle to the group, then other times his soul seems dark. He likes his namesake and is a good commander, but Beetle always thought he never gave them enough indpendance .
Parents[]
Beetle mother always cared for him and his father gave him a good sense of humor. He felt sad about leaving them but enjoyed the freedom.
Abilities[]
After studying it for a time with Snapper, Beetle became skilled with his flamesilk. Before his metamorphosis his wrist stinger venom would cause a burning pane wherever it went, but after it they would merely sicken the target or if there's a high enough dose, tranquilizer them. His claw stingers were inherited drone his father but lack venom due to his hybrid heritage. His fighting skills have no actual technique.
Trivia[]
- Beetle was named after the dragon tribe that both his parents are descendents of, Beetlewings.
- He is not considered a royal since Fireant claimed that he did not want his children to be stuck in royal politics. He does not mind this.
- His favourite novel series is "Mangrove Misteries".
