Appearance
Bamboo is rather small for her age. She has green over scales with hints of dark green scattered about and with a scavenger-like underbelly. The bottom half of her legs transitions from green to a fiery orange. Her frill fades into a lighter green while her tail fades into a darker green. She has no jewelry and is very visibly tired and exhausted. Bamboo has never really felt the need to change her colours too often due to her being alone for most of her time and not really caring if others see her like this way, except when she has to go out in public, then she panics and tries to look "pretty". She's usually seen with Petal on her back.

Personality
Bamboo is rather quiet, as she spends her time alone in her treehouse with her scavenger Petal. She is always open to help others and she is generally cooperative. She is a bit of a foodie as she spends some of her free time waiting for night to fall either eating, writing, or playing with Petal. She is also quite stubborn and refuses to go out to massive public gatherings unless absolutely necessary. Bamboo is considered by her peers and teachers to be a curious soul who has a fascination with both math and space. While she can be lazy at times (and by at times I mean a lot), she is a hard working RainWing who tries to further both Pantala and Pyrrhia in astronomy. She is also noted to be quite intelligent but constantly undermines it and is a bit of a overthinker. She is also scared of most things and paranoid about the tiniest of things, including worrying about a leaf falling and crushing Petal. This is also the main reason she never really talks to most dragons, due to her being scared of disappointing them or coming off as rude and annoying.
To most dragons, Bamboo is just a weirdo who likes space and writing far too much for any normal RainWing, but those like Truthspeaker, Truthseeker, and Petal know that she's a kind and caring dragon who enjoys making a fool of herself to make others laugh.
History
Early Childhood:
Bamboo's childhood was rather uneventful. She was born without knowing her parents like most RainWings and she barely remembers a time before Glory was even queen. She has broken memories of big scary black dragons coming and being scared of them. Bamboo, not really having anywhere to go other than the dragonet nursery, would often spend her days on top massive trees to view the stars at night. She was scared and fascinated by the NightWings, mainly for their knowledge and how much their wing scales resembled the stars in the night sky. Early on she realized that not all NightWings are evil, seeing as she befriended two NightWing twins of her age, a purple NightWing named 'Truthspeaker' and a blue NightWing named 'Truthseeker'. Both of them shared a common interest in the unknown (even if Bamboo's unknown was less terrifying than what her friends were seeking), as Truthspeaker wanted to share her findings and be a teacher while Truthseeker wanted to search through Pyrrhia and find the secrets herself. All three dragons would spend their days happy and searching through the Rainforest Kingdom for new animals. They'd also join Bamboo on her star gazing and in turn Bamboo would explore the ocean near them. One exploration of the ocean, however, scared Bamboo so much she refused to go into the ocean or any body of water ever again. What happened was she was swimming about when all of a sudden, she caught a glimpse of something in the water. It was long, red, and there were four massive mandibles outstretched from it's face. It was quite a while away, but it noticed the three dragonets. It roared loudly as it charged to them. All dragonets barely managed to escape the water, but Truthseeker's leg was cut by one of the outstretched mandibles as it leaped out of the ocean to get them. Bamboo looked back to see the creature's eyes, which even to this day haunt her dreams. She's since then has never gone into the ocean and has no desire to ever since that incident.
Darkstalker's Rebirth:
When Darkstalker rose from Agate Mountain Bamboo was only a year and a half. She hated this time period and has repressed a lot of memories of the event out of her memory. What she can remember is Truthspeaker and Truthseeker acting strange and rude and crying to herself, believing that she was the cause of all the NightWings being mean all of a sudden. She lived in that time full of fear along side other fearful RainWings. All she wanted to do during this time was to see her friends once more and to play with them. Suddenly, one day all of the NightWings returned to normal and Bamboo hesitantly began to play with the NightWing twins once more.
Raindrop Academy:
A year after the Darkstalker incident, a bunch of schools ended up popping up around Pyrrhia. One of these schools was Raindrop Academy, a well-funded school with scrolls all across from Pyrrhia and had great education. When Bamboo started to attend Raindrop Academy she was in awe of how much she didn't know about the world. She didn't know about any other tribe except for NightWings and RainWings for years, now to learn that these tribes existed and had such great history to them amazed Bamboo. She'd spend hours in the academy's library with Truthspeaker and Truthseeker, learning more and more about the history of all of these other tribes. What Bamboo didn't find however was more knowledge on the stars and moons. She learned a bit about the three moons and the Skyfire comet, but other than that she learned nothing. This fed into her curiosity more and more as she began making a habit of staying up all night to chart the stars and to make guesses on what they were on. She was admired by her teachers, yet hated by her other clawmates. She was often mocked for being so obsessive over the heavens that the other RainWing students laughed at her for being so "weird". She was considered a freak to them because she wasn't lazy and wanted to know more about "a silly and stupid thing". The laughter and talking being her back got on her more and more and she began to believe it. She gave into the rumors that she was a weirdo, but, it didn't stop her. It more or less pushed her more and more to make a break through with the universe itself just to prove them all wrong. As the years go on she learned more and more about the blinking lights, linking them to the sun and if they were just like the sun itself that could mean that there's more planets like the one Bamboo was native to. Truthspeaker and Truthseeker supported and defended Bamboo as she also helped them in their study. Truthseeker wanted to be physically active and prepared to go and explore the continent while Truthspeaker wanted to get over her small public speaking issues and to learn more about math and other subjects.
Pantala / Pyrrhia trading:
As the years went on Bamboo heard about another continent. This alone got her excited as she instantly wanted to learn more about it. She was even more happy to hear that after a few peace treaties that both continents would begin to trade goods, knowledge, books, and even dragons with each other. Bamboo picked up one of these illusive books as soon as she could and loved them so much. Full of knowledge and the design of them nearly made her faint. Then, she had a idea. She had heard about the SeaWing queen's scrolls and how they told stories but in a visual way. She grabbed a piece of scroll paper and began to write about her findings and knowledge about the heavens themselves; but not only that but also ideas of a Sloth going on a adventure with their friends for dragonets to read. She wants to publish her findings or get them out into the world some how but has no idea where to start. During this time she also met a few LeafWings who've moved over to the Rainforest Kingdom, but never got to know them other than a few conversations over some snacks (those honey drops from Pantala are to DIE for). However, at this time both Truthspeaker and Truthseeker left for their own paths. Truthseeker went out to find evidence of BeetleWing civilization while Truthspeaker went to Jade Mountain Academy to teach. This upsetted Bamboo beyond any level and even though her life was the same even after they left, she couldn't help but feel like she was mising something from her life. She wanted to find someone else to care for. Luckly a few years later she'd get her wish.
Petal:
Just a year of two ago, Bamboo was visiting Truthspeaker and was coming back home. As she flew how she noticed the smell of smoke. She looked down to see a tiny little house on the outskirts of the mountain range on fire. She dove down in order to save any dragons inside, only to realize it was too small for a dragon. Bamboo floated above the house to see a small brown haired scavenger with a bundle of blankets in her hands. The small scavenger shuffled out of the only to fall lifelessly. The bundle of blankets began to scream and Bamboo flew down to investigate. She picked up the tiny bundle to see a small baby scavenger, no older than 1. The small scavenger wailed and cried and once the small thing laid eyes on Bamboo, she stopped crying and stared at her in amazement. Bamboo didn't know what else to do. She stomped out the fire and looked at the baby. She couldn't just leave it here to die... She carried the small thing in her talons and walked home, even though it took hours more. Once she got back home, she unwrapped the baby and inspected it. The scavenger was a tiny little thing and it had dark brown hair and green eyes. Bamboo greeted the scavenger with a small and very soft "Hello?" and the scavenger looked up at Bamboo and began to laugh. The laugh was adorable and Bamboo's heart melted right there. From then since Bamboo and the Scavenger (which she named Petal) have been living together in the Rainforest Kingdom.
Relationships
Petal (Positive): Petal is considered to be Bamboo's daughter. Bamboo has taught Petal a bit of dragon over the years to the point where Petal can speak in full sentences. Yet, Petal still refers to Bamboo with a scavenger term, which when translated says "Ma-ma".
The NightWing Twins (Both positive): Truthspeaker and Truthseeker have always been there for Bamboo and their relationship as a wholesome three-dragon best friend squad has only gotten stronger as the years went on. Even though Bamboo rarely sees Truthspeaker and hasn't seen Truthseeker in nearly 3 years, their relationship is still as strong as ever.
