Azure's appearance fits her personality. Tall, strong, and menacing, with a powerful aura about her. Her main scales are gold, and she has a dark blue SandWing frill running down her back with a few SeaWing webs scattered in various places. Her underscales are light turquoise blue. She has a few glowing scales, but not many, and cannot speak Aquatic. She has a SandWing barb at the end of her tail.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

She is not one to mess with. Azure has a quick temper and can become angry easier than most other dragons. She has very little self-control and can be triggered by almost anything. She is rebellious and hates rules, and is almost never calm. She can be sarcastic at times, but not often, preferring to yell at others.

Despite her anger, though, she cares very much about those she loves, and would do anything for them.

H I S T O R Y

Azure's parents met in the beginning of the War of SandWing Succession. Her mother was a SandWing soldier and her father was a SeaWing prince. Because of this, Azure is technically a princess, but as she is not involved with any kingdoms and is disinterested in royalty, she has given up the title.

Her parents planned to run away to raise her, but her father was unwilling to leave the palace and her mother was too loyal to the war, so she was instead raised by her uncle, Desert, who was a soldier in the same army as his sister. He was a decent parent, and gave Azure a deeper connection to the Kingdom of Sand than the Sea Kingdom.

When she turned seven, she decided to see the world for herself. Desert let her, and she flew to the Kingdom of the Sea, where she met her father.

She learned she greatly disliked him, and deciding to go somewhere new, went to the Rainforest Kingdom, where she met Eclipse for the first time. Despite their different personalities, the two quickly became friends. Azure had feelings for Eclipse for a very short time, but they faded quickly, and she has not felt that way for any dragon since.

Eclipse lived in the NightWing island with the rest of her tribe, but often snuck into the rainforest. She planned to take Azure to the island one day, but the RainWings took over the NightWings before she could.

Azure was furious. She agreed that what the NightWings had done was wrong, but she and Eclipse knew most of them had simply been following orders. They thought the takeover wasn't a proper response, and organized a rebellion.

The rebellion is still active now.

She was supposed to have a sister, but I decided against that. Her sister never had a name.

Eclipse

Azure and Eclipse are very different dragons. They both have the same goal, but Azure's more violent and Eclipse's peaceful methods of reaching it are different and have caused many arguments between them. Despite their constant arguing, though, they are true friends.

Cloud

Azure was one of the first dragons Cloud came out to, and she trusts him with her life. He has a similar personality to hers, but more peaceful, and doesn't believe in violence. They get along very well.

Silverscale

Azure doesn't understand this strange little dragonet. She cares about her, though, and sees her as a younger sister.

Raspberry

Raspberry annoys Azure constantly and never gives her a break. She hates Raspberry and wishes she would just go away for once.
