APPEARNCE
interesting. certainly one of a kind.
her scales are gray, and a dull gray at that, with darker speckles. it would have been uninteresting if not for the green and orange highlights. streaks of pale green across luxes drab gray scales, outlined in reddish orange. the green and orange color combination appears on luxes frill and horns as well, though the greens and oranges on them are several shades darker.
aucuba’s wings are large, the membrane dark green, turning into black. something about her appearance seems off. maybe it’s the too small teeth, the longer than average tail, the large ears and spines, the long, twisted claws perfect for picking a lock, or perhaps the eyes.
odd eyes. pale purplish sclera with darkish yellow irises. they seem to be glaring at you consistently, yet at the same time daring you to attack her. surprisingly, her body bears scars — more scars than an average her age. two claw slashes across the snout — they’ve healed completely, yet the scars never fade. burn scars both on luxes throat and tail. the one on luxes tail doesn’t hurt anymore — an old wound, from bickering with a skywing dragonet. it’s inferior wound, as much as the skywing was inferior.
but the one on her throat; it’s the one that bothers her most. it still hurts, even after two years, long after she should have forgotten about that nightwing, the one who gave her that burn.
