"Ooh, this rug is so fancy," -Arura to Burrow
Appearance[]
Arura is a colorful SilkWing. She has teal scales, pink wings and a purple underbelly. She often carries a brown satchel with fruit inside.
Personality[]
Arura is a friendly dragon, and always wants to make new friends. She trusts people easily, as shown with Lacewing. She loves to read and write about adventure. Not all of her ideas are taken seriously, and she wishes she was seen as a more serious dragon.
Abilities[]
Arura has all of the typical SilkWing abilities. She has difficulty flying, due to not practicing flying much after her Metamorphosis, and is still a pretty clumsy dragon.
Relationships[]
Nymph: Arura has a good relationship with her mother, Nymph. The two are close, and Arura frequently works at Nymph's store after school. Nymph refused to tell Arura about her father for years, which caused tension, but once Arura found out about him using the scroll of Jerboa III, she understood why Nymph wouldn't tell her and forgave her. Nymph has severe anxiety, which she often tries to hide from Arura so she doesn't worry about her.
Burrow: Burrow is Arura's best friend. The two met as dragonets, when Burrow was stranded in the desert, and since then have lived and gone everywhere together. Burrow is more scientific than Arura, and is sometimes regarded as smarter than her, which makes Arura sad.
Lacewing: Arura and Lacewing have known each other for most of their lives, but only became friends on their quest across Pyrrhia. Lacewing always thought Arura seemed nice, but never approached her. Arura often tries to make peace between Burrow and Lacewing, who don't like each other very much.
Firefall: Arura has a great relationship with her mother's partner. Arura introduced Nymph and Firefall several years ago, after meeting Firefall in the street as a young dragonet and deciding she was nice. The two often cook together, and Arura goes to Firefall whenever she needs advice.
Biography[]
Arura was born on Pantala, and made the journey to Pyrrhia with her mother, Nymph, on a ferry when she was around one year old. They travelled around for a while, living in the old Night Kingdom for a while, before eventually deciding on living permanently in Possibility. While walking through the desert because she didn't have wings yet, Arura found Burrow, a small SandWing dragonet. She brought him to Nymph, who nursed him back to health. Once they made it to Possibility, Arura met Firefall in the street and introduced her to Nymph.
In Hidden Magic, Arura befriends Lacewing, a misunderstood dragonet who has animus powers hidden from Lacewing by her deceased mother. They travel around Pyrrhia together, along with Burrow, and eventually discover that Lacewing's father is hiding her powers. After they come back to Possibility, the two become close friends. On another adventure, Arura travels to the Sea Kingdom and becomes friends with Sunfish, a royal dragonet. She decides she wants to be a teacher and is currently pursuing that goal.
