A P P E A R A N C E
Apache is primarily lilac purple. She has some darker violet overscales, and her sail, ruff, and horns are the same color. Her underbelly is a muted champagne yellow, and her wing membranes are a slightly darker color. On her legs, Apache has some dusty pink scales that resemble a RainWing's. The inside of her ears is that same dusty pink.
Apache's eyes are what startle dragons the most, though. Her eyes are a very light lime green in contrast to the rest of her body, and to some dragons she looks like she's blind but she really isn't. Her sight isn't the best though, and it leads to Apache being clumsy and not having that element of surprise most bounty hunters have.
She mainly has the build of a SandWing, her only RainWings features being her coloring, ruff, and legs. Her scale pattern reflects that of a SandWing's, but the scales on her legs greatly resemble a RainWing's. She lacks the normal agility a RainWing has, but has inherited longer fangs but with no venom. Apache's tail barb is half as powerful as a normal SandWing's, but is enough to stun an opponent.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Apache isn't a sociable dragon; she stays away from dragons because she believes that she's learned and has all the information she needs. She is quick to dart away, and if she is pulled into a conversation Apache waits for the dragons to get distracted by something else and then runs away back to her haven, wherever it is. She prefers to be alone and finds it weird when dragons actually try to talk to her and listen to her opinions, she's used to just being pushed aside.
Apache is sensitive. She'll take even the smallest insult as personal and either rage at the dragon, or leave in a huff, choking back tears. To prevent that embarrassment Apache isn't seen much, and she has made a hard outer shell for herself to hide the soft yolk underneath. She is generally quiet and hates arguments, but is loud when comfortable and sometimes her temper can get out of check without anyone to regulate it.

H I S T O R Y
- Apache's parents met when her dad, a SandWing named Boil, got stuck in a sandstorm near the Rain Kingdom. Her mother, a healer named Cassowary, found the unconscious Boil while foraging for medicinal succulents and took him to her hut in the Rain Kingdom.
- They grew close as Boil healed
- Boil stayed with Cassowary for around a year, pretending to become sick just as soon as he had decided to leave to stay with the gorgeous RainWing. Cassowary quickly caught on but humored him, pretending to treat him
- They eventually started a relationship and Cassowary found out she was with egg
- Boil was a SandWing diplomat, though, and couldn't stay away for too long. A few months after his first daughter, Desert Bloom, hatched, Boil had to leave
- He would come back every few weeks but grew tired of the constant flying. Cassowary and Boil agreed that after the second egg hatched, Boil would take the dragonet with him back to the Sand Kingdom.
- While they were still together, Boil and Cassowary would raise each child separately until Boil got his desired job of being a permanent SandWing representative in the RainWing queen's court- that way both parents would have a piece of their children.
- And so Apache was born!
- Every few months she would visit her mom and her sister, but raising a dragonet while traveling across Pyrrhia exhausted Boil. One day, Apache came to visit Desert Bloom and Cassowary and just- never left. Her dad promised he would be back soon but it was around a year until they saw him again.
- After around 2 years it was clear that Boil wasn't getting the job. Apache's parents unofficially divorced- while they did love each other, life had just caught up to them and they had to be realistic about how they were going to raise their children while continuing their careers.
- Cassowary moved to a small town in the Sea Kingdom with her daughters called Seabend
- Apache found it hard to adjust. She didn't interact with many dragonets her age while traveling with her dad, and she wasn't close to her sisters (or even her mother)
- Desert Bloom resented Apache for being the "chosen dragonet" that could travel with their father, even though Apache personally had nothing to do with the decision- it was all their parents. Desert Bloom had somewhat idolized Boil and thought that she deserved to assist him more than Apache did.
- She would be very cold to Apache and would treat her as more of a servant, justifying her behavior with the excuse that she was older. She would never listen to Apache and would immediately shut down any ideas for games or anything else Apache had.
- Cassowary didn't do much to try and get the sisters to get along, enabling Desert Bloom. As the years went on Cassowary started using marijuana as a stress reliever more and more, and Apache felt like she couldn't get past her mother's (literal and figurative) wall of smoke.
- In school, however, Apache met a young IceWing LeafWing named Taiga. Taiga was 2 years older than Apaache, and she was the only IceWing or LeafWing hybrid in school. While Taiga was very kind and respectful, many other dragonets didn't want to be friends with her because they didn't know what to expect from her hybridity.
- Apache had no such qualms, though, and became fast friends with Taiga. Taiga was the first dragon to actually treat Apache like a sentient being with thoughts and feelings, and they bonded over their vivid imaginations. Apache genuinely had no idea why Taiga didn't have more friends.
- Cassowary adored Taiga and even Desert Bloom stopped bullying Apache as much, being intimidated by Apache's cool older friend. Taiga quickly became Apache's favorite dragon in the entire world.

Chill: When she was an aspiring bounty hunter, she saw Chill as annoying and crazy and that he wouldn't teach her anything. She was wrong about that, though, as Chill taught her most of the things she knows today. They were partners in crime for a few years before Chill decided to take a step back. She still regularly talks to Chill and considers him her adoptive father.
Baskara: Baskara intimidates Apache. Apache thinks that Baskara doesn't like her very much and tries to be a huge suckup to him, which entertains Baskara.
