Appearance:[]

At first glance, you'd be right to think that Anura is a well-mannered, poised, elegant, beautiful young dragoness. What you wouldn't assume is that her parents once called her ugly, and that she's actually quite an accomplished detective, Lepidopterist, and writer.

Anura has light green scales, odd for a HiveWing. They shimmer all shades of iridescence, which Anura is quite used to. She is tall, and carries herself properly, unlike most young dragons of today. Not a hint of slouch is detected on her shoulders, and not a hint of slacking is present on her thin, beautiful tail, which holds a HiveWing stinger. She has bright, aquamarine eyes, and enormous dragonfly wings, odd for HiveWings (odd meaning impossible), which shimmer in shades of white, blue, purple, pink, and yellow iridescence.

She is themed in the 1800s, with a stoic look to her elegant face, and modest clothing. Her parents once called her ugly for the lack of shimmer or other colors in her complexion, but she doesn't mind it; her amazing sense of fashion and beauty has enabled her to rise up in the face of the parents who never wanted her so that she can become the best dragon she can be.

Her voice claim is Camilla Arfwedson.

Clothing:[]

On each of her foretalons are pink silk gloves, with looped white lace borders and a white silk tie. Around her neck is a white silk frilly collar, which characterizes her love for fashion. On her head is a lilypad hat, with a pink lotus on top, and her pet frog, Dragonfly, seated there, which are quite odd accessories. Somehow, these plants are living, and her pet frog really does perch there. A turquoise spray flows down one side of the lilypad, which is quite elegant, she thinks. Around her shoulders is an aquamarine silk scarf, gifted to her by her late grandmother.

Jewelry:[]

She wears a light pink pearl necklace, and a dragonfly brooch is secured on her scarf. Several (living) butterflies perch on various places on her tail, which gives her her ability.

Personality:[]

Anura is polite, well-mannered, but also quite stark when telling someone off. Her strange love for tea, sewing, and mysteries are baffling to others, but she doesn't mind it. Not at all.

Although she is quite accomplished, and known to be polite, she can be quite stubborn, and quite adverse to change. She can be stuck in her ways, and is known to rule with an iron core, who prefers doing what's right as opposed to getting her way. She advocates for others, and isn't afraid to state her opinion, even in the face of the temple workers who want her power. Her wealth, power, and popularity makes it impossible to capture her and/or convince her to go along with plans that she doesn't look upon favorably, which makes her perfect for handing out advice. She has advised many of the other deities to back down, away from the temple workers, but their need for money has greatly outweighed the risk, and so she has no choice but to leave them to make their own choices.

Abilities:[]

Anura has the ability to control dragonflies, butterflies, and all things insect-related. She can also stop fast-moving rivers, control the growth of lotuses and lilypad, and communicate with insects and frogs. She is somehow in possession of so many abilities that it becomes quite difficult for the Head Deities to decide on a title for her, sticking to the title 'Deity of the Riverpath', or 'Deity of the Lilyriver', which is what they've come up with to encompass that many abilities in one.

Day-to-day life:[]

Every day, Anura wakes up in her mansion, the Dragonfly Manoir, and makes her way to the dining room, where her chef will serve her something delightful, as well as the mandatory cup of tea. She refuses to live in a temple, so this is where she stays, her own home, which she paid for with her own hard-earned money.

She is cool
