Hatching[]
Amongst the glossy, pearl white RainWing eggs laid a single deep blue one, which was a bit larger than the others. Pale blue swirls decorated the egg, making it stunningly beautiful, drawing every RainWing's eyes to it. It was unusual, since no RainWing eggs were ever blue, but as the small dragonets hatched, it was obvious that this blue egg was no RainWing, or even a hybrid. It was a female SeaWing who got placed in the rainforest as an egg, hopelessly clawing her way out. "Squawk!" she peeped, staring at the hatching dragonets around her, shimmering with their multicolored scales. The SeaWing could tell that she was different from the other dragons; her own tail was much different than the longer, more colorful ones, her scales weren't as round, her claws longer. "Squawk?" The SeaWing whacked her tail against the walls nervously, wondering where she was. Older RainWing dragons stepped in, as well as Queen Grandeur, who wanted to give the dragonet a name that stuck with both the SeaWing and RainWing traditions; Amazon. "Amazon..." the little SeaWing whispered.
Appearance[]
Despite having been raised in a "lazy" tribe, Amazon stands tall and proud. Her eyes are colored a pale arctic blue with specks of lilac and maroon, which shimmer slightly under the sun. Amazon's prominent snout is a deep peacock blue, spotted with a few glowing smoky-white scales that match her curved horns. Her slim neck colored is shaded a sweet cerulean color, and the ridge of her back is a deep midnight blue. Wanting to make herself stand out even more, Amazon studded her ear with a small rock she found on the rainforest floor.
Amazon's underbelly is the same cerulean blue as her neck, splattered with matching smoky-white glowing scales. The gills on her neck are an arctic blue, just like her eyes. Her large wings are the same midnight blue as most of her scales, which are decorated with the pretty SeaWing glowing scales. She is quite pleasing to look at even though she hates attracting attention.
Personality[]
Ever since she was a young dragonet, Amazon was very loud. She isn't the most respectful dragon, and tends to be quite sarcastic at times, but overall, RainWings want to hang out with her. Amazon was raised with no real family, so she often stuck to herself, enforcing her strong independent side.
If there's one thing Amazon loves, it's bothering sleeping RainWings. There's nothing she hates more than suntime, so ruining it for RainWings she doesn't like is often her afternoon activity. Some would describe Amazon as rude and annoying, but her true friends know that behind the thick layers of "evilness" and sarcasm, there's a caring and funny dragon (although only the dragons she truly trust ever find this out for themselves).
Relationships[]
Mongoose[]
Mongoose was one of the RainWings that hatched the same day Amazon did. They're absolute best friends, and he knows how to deal with the SeaWing's mood swings no matter when they happen. Even though he and Amazon have completely different personalities, they get along very well and are always there for eachother.
Azalea[]
She's a very close friend of Amazon and Mongoose, and is very bubbly. She loves to hang around with her friends whenever she can, but knows when to give them their space.
