INTRODUCTION

You fly over the expanse of the MudWing swamps, beating your wings tiredly. You've been flying all night and are in desperate need of a rest. You spot a small farm on the edge of a forest and swoop down to land near the outskirts.

A small MudWing with swirls of purple appears in the doorway, closely followed by a slightly smaller, red-toned MudWing. The first MudWing trots down a dirt-hardened trail to meet you. "Hello," she says. "My name's Alyssum. Who are you?"

APPEARANCE

Alyssum is smaller then the average MudWing but larger then a SilkWing, making her the tallest of her sib group. Although she's quite lean for a MudWing, she's also well muscled with strong shoulders and wings. Her scales are pure MudWing and she looks mostly like one.

Her mainscales are a dark brown-red color, with overlapping scales in similar shades along her back and near her underbelly. She has several whorls of tones of purple spiraling across her body, reminiscence of her SilkWing father. Her eyes are also a shade of bright purple, with highlights of a lighter tone.

Alyssum's underbelly is pale brown. Her horns and spikes are a deep, dark brown color with hints of red hidden near where the horn meets her scales.

PERSONALITY

Alyssum is a very kind dragon internally. She cares a lot for her siblings and hates to see them scared or in pain. She often acts aggressive around others to protect her sibs from outsiders.

She tries hard to be patience, and usually succeeds, but can sometimes snap if you push her too hard. Likes to help out around the farm, and can be a bit bossy. Makes sure her sibs know what to do and how to do it.

She loves telling stories and tall tales, and can be quite theatric when telling them. Her sibs love it when she does that, and she quite enjoys the looks on her sibs snouts when she leaves them at a cliff-hanger.

HISTORY

Alyssum then took over the farm and family business. She became the main care-taker of the family along with her brother, Heliotrope.

But tragedy struck a few years into the future.

She and her sibs grew up on the farm, happy and healthy. They relied on their yearly harvest of pumpkins to sustain the group throughout the winter season. They often visited the nearby MudWing villages to trade for provisions.

But tragedy struck a few years into the future. The sibs allow a traveling group of dragons to stay in their barn for a few days until they can get back on their feet. Unbeknownst to Alyssum and most of her sibs, these dragons were honestly out to kill any dragons they could (cheery, I know.) They convince Lobelia, Alyssum's youngest sister to kill Geranium, the sibs youngest brother.

When Alyssum and Heliotrope find out, The travelers are already gone and Lobelia had fled, supposedly to the vast emptiness of the Sand Kingdom.

Alyssum and Heliotrope fly after her as soon as they figure out what happened. They knew that Lobelia wouldn't have killed Geranium, and they were out to prove their innocence.

Alyssum's now scouring the Sand Kingdom with her brother, searching for her sister.
