Alta is a female SilkWing who is 30 years old and is from the mountains.

Alta is light pink with soft green wing membranes and blue tendrils down her tail. She has flamesilk and is known for her warming blankets over time

Alta appears briefly in Shatter Academy as an illusion done by Orange with his magic armband.
More notably, Alta appeared in Darklight Academy as not a prophecy dragonet, but a dragonet tormented every night by the prophetic vision. On the night the prophecy was released, she had the same dream as everyone else, but as the nights wear on, the visions only she has grow into nightmares and torment until Starlight, her best friend, and Orange, her friend, use Orange's magic to conjure her an armband that silenced the nightmares' torment while also allowing her to have the visions as they provide helpful insight into the future of the prophecy (i.e. the ending which happened in one nightmare, the ever changing date) and she becomes a helpful tool in defeating Deathwatcher.

Alta arrived at Cantharis Academy with her brother Tuvok. Neither believed Queen Cantharis was serious about the hierarchy system which was essentially discrimination. She encounters a HiveWing prince, Prince Carderbee, and she immediately has a crush on him. Later in the day, Tuvok mentions offhandedly to Carderbee that Alta liked Carderbee a lot and continued to ramble on about Stella. After being invited to a dinner where Carderbee confesses love to three dragons (including Alta) in which one dragon (Gypsy) is angry that she isn't Carderbee's only love and the other (Stag) is indignant that he isn't special to Carderbee anymore. Only Alta in the beginning accepted this, as she really heard "I like you" instead of "I like you all" in her head.
After this, in the next day Carderbee tells her and Stag (Gypsy no more in this relationship) that he can't live without Alta or Stag, so Alta consents to date him, though she views Stag as essentially as no one (Rip Stag) She then a little afterwards gives Carderbee a special, always warm nonlethal flamesilk and silk blanket. Together they stop a mob with Prince Yellowjacket who accurately interprets Alta and Carderbee's relationship as it is. Alta and Carderbee then meet up in the prey center where Alta sleeps on Carderbee and is carried to Carderbee's room.
Alta awakes in her room the next day and heads to class after a peaceful breakfast with Carderbee, she heads to class where the teachers are pretty amiable and against Cantharis, notably Spider. Alta in breaks between classes and during clases goes for strolls in the school, seeing Carderbee many times.

At Darklight Academy, Alta had an armband that calmed her, stopped nightmare pain, made her resistant to fire, and made her heal quickly. She was very protected by her friends.
She also has an emerald hummingbird made and enchanted by Erebus named Kiwi.

Alta has a bag which has a hidden compartment of homemade honey drops and in other parts there is a few blankets, a pad of paper and pen, a pouch for Algebra 2 notes (also hidden), a book on Algebra 1 and another on Algebra 2 (Algebra 2 hidden as well) a ripped up flier about a music festival idea, and a copy of the letters she and Tuvok sent.
Alta also has a large blanket of flamesilk and silk, the flamesilk forever warm but never hurting.
She also has a stuffed toy of Carderbee.

The Rainforest Winglet[]
At Shatter Academy, Alta "had" a good relationship with the Rainforest Winglet. The group was seen rushing through the halls, eating, and talking as one, which was because Orange's armband.
Darklight Academy[]
Starlight[]
Starfall is Alta's best friend. Alta can be seen looking for her and Starlight was the one who suggested to armband to help Alta.
Galaxy[]
While she doesn't know her well, Alta regards Galaxy as a very good friend and will look to her for advice regarding the prophecy.
Erebus[]
Erebus is Alta's boyfriend. At first, they weren't too close, but after a while, they grew to like each other. Alta also cared for Erebus after he was attacked by a demon thing.
Tuvok[]
Tuvok is Alta's brother. He will defend his sister no matter what.

Carderbee[]
Carderbee is Alta's boyfriend. The two met when Alta was looking around the school, and he told her he could get her math notes. It was Tuvok who revealed to Carderbee that Alta liked him and Carderbee invited her to a dinner.
