This OC has been placed into the chaos of the Starfall AU! Feel pity, for they have been tortured, traumatized, shipped excessively, and have found out they're related to at least half of their friends.
Algae[]
Algae had no idea WHAT her mother had been thinking. Not only was the firstborn princess of the SeaWings a hybrid, but her name. was. ALGAE. Sure, Algae liked, even loved, her name, but she knew that every time a stuck-up noble or a guard on patrol saw her, they were thinking, Wow, I can't IMAGINE a queen named QUEEN ALGAE. And then, or course, her mother had gone and named her other two daughters Lily and River Birch. Because of course. To be fair, hybrids were much less frowned-upon these days, but STILL. Since she was half-LeafWing, and she was a princess, did she have any right to the LeafWing throne? For that matter, did she have any right to the SeaWing throne? She couldn't even speak aquatic properly. Somehow, instead of having all her glow-scales needed for aquatic, she had just a few along her snout and tail, but her chest glowed at night from within, as if her very heart were the source of her light. But it was fine, she'd never need to be queen. Her younger sister, Lili, was a born leader, and would surely claim the throne... except that Algae's mother, Queen Anemone, seemed... not so thrilled with this plan. Eh, they'd wear her down.
History[]
Algae is the first-hatched daughter of Queen Monsoon and her LeafWing husband, Walnut. She has two younger sisters - Lili is two years younger than Algae, and River Birch is two years younger than Lili. Algae never really wanted to be queen; her sister Lili would be a much better choice, but ever since Queen Glacier chose her successor so long ago, most queens have followed suit. For Queen Monsoon, her eldest daughter seemed the perfect candidate for queen, as she would come of age the soonest. Despite the years going by and Algae only despising her future role more, the queen kept her in training for queen. When Algae was six, her father was called away to fight in a small war between the LeafWings and IceWings over some tiny island in the middle of the ocean. He didn't want to go, but his loyalty to his tribe trumped his desires. and then, when Algae was seven, her mother was killed in a shark attack, a very rare occurrence. They tried to contact Walnut, only to discover he had been killed in a battle just two days before. The only remaining option was Algae.

Appearance:[]
Algae is a soft gray-green color, and her underbelly is covered in the tiny swirls often found on the wings of royal SeaWings. Her snout is a bit turned-up, giving her a bit of a snobby look sometimes. Her horns are elegantly curved, and her ears are a bit large. She has only some of the necessary scales for aquatic, and when it's dark, her chest glows from within, like her heart is giving off light. her tail is long and elegant, and the spines running down her, well, spine are a darker green than the rest of her. Her wings are large, and she holds them uncomfortably, level with her body, as if she isn't quite sure what to do with them. She has gills and webbed talons, and of course the SeaWing strength to survive great depths.
Personality:[]
Algae is rather shy and tends to keep to herself. She has absolutely no interest in being queen, and thinks the crown should be passed to her little sister, Lili, who would (in Algae's opinion) be perfect for the job. She is unusually intrigued by octupuses, and has even tried to keep a few as pets, an idea her mother quickly shot down.

Queen Monsoon - mother - deceased - neutral[]
While Algae loved her mother, they disagreed on a lot of topics, most specifically Algae's future queenship. Queen Monsoon is a fair queen, just... not when it comes to her daughters.
Walnut - father - deceased - positive[]
She loved her father dearly, and protested the most when he was obliged to go off to war with the rest of his tribe. He was always the one who let her go free from her queen lessons, and brought her and her sisters special treats and toys.
Lili - sister - alive - positive[]
She has the same relationship with her sister as I'm sure many of you do - sorta love/hate. They both know Lili would make a better queen, and they just keep trying to convince their mother. When Algae suddenly becomes queen, she consults Lili on what to do.
River Birch - sister - alive - positive[]
River Birch, her other little sister, is much more like Algae than Lili is. Despite being only three, River Birch (or Riv) loves reading and learning, and has already told her sisters that even if she, as the youngest, ever got the chance to be queen, she wouldn't want it.
