This fanfic is to tell a story about one of my Ocs, Crow.
Who I made about 2 years ago by now.
Anyways who cares, enjoy!
Epilogue[]
A pale blue icewing swiftly flew over the icy mountains in the Ice kingdom, the sun rose and hit his scales.
The icewing was covered in slashes to his chest and to his snout, he bled a lot. Luckily those slashes weren’t too deep, otherwise he may die.
Don’t worry little dragonet The icewing’s mind echoed, the dark gray night and icewing, who cried and squealed due to a slash on her snout that bled. He carried her his talons as he flew fastly, as if fleeing from something or someone.
I’m sorry for your loss, little claws…..I’m sorry for your mother and father, everything…..
The dragonet cried and cried, she couldn’t stop.
We’re almost home little claws…. the icewing thought as he flew faster for his life and the little dragonet’s.
The icewing flew closer and closer to a tall mountain that was at the edge of the ice kingdom, the farthest mountain, where he and the dragonet couldn't be found by someone or someones.
The icewing landed at the edge of the cave and landed cautiously while carrying the crying dragonet inside, where he laid her down on a soft bed, to rest.
The dragonet’s black eyes glistened with tears, she couldn’t stop crying.
Why did I leave the other ones? Was I horribly wrong for it? Wait, of course you are, idiot! The icewing’s mind thought with anger of himself as he went to a cabinet to find bandages and herbs.
The icewing aided the dragonet’s long and then cut, that went across her snout before aiding himself. Which took a while, but he got it done.
Nevertheless, now…what should I name this dragonet? hm…….Ghosteyes? I mean her irises are pale as the three moons! The icewing glanced at the dragonet, who slowly and painfully fell asleep with the dread of the dragon who hurt her, when she did no wrong whatsoever.
Moonsight! A bit ironic? no?......hm..Sliversight! No! That's not a creative name! And that sounds like a seer who desires greed! My, my……..this is harder than I thought………hmm the icewing glanced at the sleeping dragonet again.
Hmmm…..the icewing thought once more.
Sliveriris?.....no, a horrible name…the icewing thought Frosteyes?...Froststripe? Hm……he looked at the dragonet, who was lying on her back and fast asleep, in the bed.
What were the names Frostbite suggested? Ghostfrost? Ravenwings? No she doesn’t look like a Ravenwings…..it wouldn’t match her at all The icewing thought again.
CAW!
A big crow who had cawed, flew onto a ledge inside the cave. The crow glared at the sleeping dragonet and caws before landing beside the sleeping dragonet, pecking the dragonet’s wing. The icewing swatted the crow away before the dragonet could wake up.
….This naming is hard………..maybe……….Crow………..is who you are, little claws……Your mother would want that name for you……
Chapter 1:[]
Crow was wandering in the Jade Mountain’s halls with silent steps of an assassin and the boldness of an eagle. Hailfall had been dropping Crow off in the morning ever since she was a dragonet, to ensure her safety on the way to school.
A couple of chattering and some thoughts from dragons would echo through the halls almost like little bat squeaks in an echoing cave that sounded really cute to Crow. But it didn’t sound like cute squeaks of course, it sounded like a bunch of annoying gossip that she hates to hear through mouth and the mind.
Crow didn’t want to join the “chattering” she called it, because It was annoying to hear some random dragons gossiping and thinking about the grumpy history teacher and Gray, that calm pale gray and pretty sandwing-wait pretty? Now that’s weird to think about, Crow thought to herself with a scrunched face.
Forget about that, she must make her way to class as quickly as possible so she isn't late and Hailfall finds out about it.
EWW is someone fantasizing about that weirdo of a sandwing!?! She thought when she heard someone thinking of fantasies of Gray.
Nevermind that, she doesn’t want to hear more of it! She must go so she’s early and Hailfall doesn’t get disappointed.
She always wanted to impress Hailfall so she shows that she’s always the best dragonet he's ever had! She has very strong respect for Hailfall, he loved and raised her like his own. But Hailfall isn’t her real father, her real parents died and Hailfall never told her why or how.
She feels a need to quickly buzz off about it because of what his face makes when she mentions it, it seemed to….really bother him and oftenly have a look of fear which she never saw unless she mentions her parents.
Nevertheless she goes on to her day anyway.
Crow looked boredly around in class, tapping her tail spine against the floor with a look of total BOREDOM and stress of graduating or at least being pulled out of school by Hailfall because he wants to teach her instead, so she can learn more important things and how to defend herself even though she knows how because Hailfall taught her in the past, but why not? Not much she even actually wants to learn in school anyway.
Crow was deep in thought now about the fact she’ll be pulled out of school after it ends, she had made so many friends or actually became friends with most her dragons in her winglet and one not in her winglet, Ripper (not in winglet), Corvus, Iceberg, Aquarius, and Grapefruit.
She hadn’t made friends with that beautiful gray sandwing named Gray and that…..old ...mudwing hybrid, Alligator, who would weirdly flirt with Corvus even though she wasn’t actually into guys though.
Crow started thinking about Gray’s black eyes…..they were so weird….they’d just shine like glitter when light hits them…..very weird she thought.
Crow finally snapped out of her deep thinking when class was over. FINALLY OUT OF THIS GARBAGE DUMP! She thought as she ran out of class and slowed down to catch her breath.
Corvus would find her laying on the floor panting “Crow? What were you doing?” said Corvus, she was a small skywing and nightwing hybrid with light crimson and gray scales.
“Sorry I had an urge to run out of that hel-” Crow was interrupted by…Alligator, a green mudwing and whatever he said his other half was, he had a long and a ugly snout too.
“Hey little bird~!” he called out to with a tone of trying to be cool but absolutely failing, Corvus shivered in discomfort and awkwardness.
“Gator? Can you like…..kindly go somewhere else? I’m sure Corvus would absolutely love that” she said with the calmest tone she had, she didn’t want to sound rude and especially after running.
She didn’t want a voice crack.
“I mean…..ok yes I will then if Corvus is happy!” he walked off with a smile, “finally he’s gone, he keeps following me around for ages!” she almost let out a growl of annoyance when he finally left.
“Yeah I hear you, like that little crush of yours on Grapefru-” “Shush, Crow!!” Corvus interrupted.
“Whaaat? Too scared to speak to her, those thoughts say?” she teased, “Crow, knock it off!” Corvus growled, “ok ok sorry I’ll stop” Crow chuckled, Corvus then noticed someone behind Crow, Gray had approached Crow while she wasn’t looking and crouched down to her level, since she was still laying on the floor.
“Crow, what are you doing on the floor?” he sincerely asked, “AACK……... .Wh-What are you here for you idiot for a stalker!?!” she yelped.
“Ah, no reason actually, I saw you on the floor. So I came here and wondered what in the several souls are you doing?” he said softly, “well great that you seem perfectly ok and well, thought you had some meltdown or something…” Gray reached out a talon to help her up but she silently declined and got up herself.
“Cool, well thanks for checking on me I guess then” she said softly, “And I can get up just as fine without help, so enough with this little gentlemen act” “Just being nice, never too late to be kind” he blinked curiously.
“You’re soo weird, you know that?” she commented with a flicker of her ear.
“Not too late to be a little weird too” he shrugged jokingly. “Oh yeah? Prove it, owl eyes” she slightly chuckled.
“What’s wrong with my eyes? Ah yes they look a bit charming to you, is that what the problem is?” he winked with a smile, Crow felt her face heat up and cooled herself down before she made an awkward face.
“Nope not at all actually, Mr.Charmer” she teased and poked his snout horn.
“Ah, so Mr.Charmer I am, eh?” he teased back.
“Nope your charm is dull as the skies of the ice kingdom and I was just messing with you” she had a grin.
“Aw, cute because your eyes…seem to be latched onto me, that's a little strange coming from you” he teased. “NO THeY ARE noT!!!” her voice cracked as she tried to growl.
“Little voice cracker aren’t you?” he chuckled.
“Ugh no…..” she muttered “Bye you charming little idiot!” she quickly walked off before she could get anymore emotional or awkward then she had just become when voice cracking. “.....That was absolutely adorable” Corvus muttered to herself as she watched Gray watch Crow walk off and left out of sight.
“Heh adorable ain’t she? Can't control those angry feelings” Gray chuckled. TO BE CONTINUED
