This takes place about 2 months after A Magical (maybe) Life (Prologue-1 month Chapter 1-2 months) after his adventure in Thornlings and Shadows. I am also creating a Gary Stu, because I can. (For some reason I think that sounds unnatural)

Prologue[]

Mango ran through the rainforest and it was... raining. He frequently looked behind himself and something with glowing red eyes was following him. He tripped over a rock and when he got up he looked behind himself again and a face, too horrifying to describe in words was right in front of him. It lunged forward and suddenly, his vision turned red, and then, he fainted. Mango woke up, breathing heavily, and he started glancing around quickly. "Oh good, it was just a... dream," he said, trying to convince himself it actually was.

Chapter 1[]

A month later[]

Mango woke up, his head pounding. Jambu and Pineapple and Pineapple and Jambu were standing over him. "Why are there two of them?" Mango wondered as his vision started to slowly correct itself. "Are you okay!?" Jambu CONSTERNATED (i definitely used this word wrong), "I was giving you a lesson on tree gliding and you hit your head on a branch!" Mango slowly got up, only to fall down again. "I think so?" he replied, (hehe scitter) "I'm just gonna... lie here for a second... or a few hours." He fell asleep because the time of day was around High Noon. (it really wasnt but i wanted to make an obscure reference)

Chapter 2[]

He woke up a few hours later in bed/hammock and it was eerily silent. "Hello?" he called. "Anyone here?" Mango didn't know but Jambu and Pineapple went for sun time, doing the exact same thing as in Flames of Hope. (I barely spoiled anything) Mango went to go explore on the outskirts of the rainforest, towards the south. After a few hours it started to rain, and he decided to take shelter in a conspicuously placed cave. (How'd I spell conspicuously right but not... uh confusing? no it was condescending? oh right unconconus) There was a flickering light at the back and he crept towards it. "Hel *crackle* e. Pl *static* se reboot. *crackle*" the thing said, "*crackle* ess th *static* ed button." Mango pressed the glowing red button in the middle of its chest, and light started emitting from its body. It looked like a crude representation of a NightWing, with scraps of rotting black fur across its body, and two glowing red eyes. As the thing got up, it said very clearly in an almost demonic voice, "RUN." "Oh no," Mango thought.

Chapter 3[]

Mango bolted out of the cave with the thing staggering close behind. He frantically scrabbled up the cliff, and dashed through the rainforest. He frequently looked behind himself and the thing was still following him. He tripped over a rock and when he got up he looked behind himself again and and the thing was right in front of him. It lunged forward and suddenly, his vision turned red, and then, he fainted. (Brick will not appear cuz no necklace)

Chapter 4[]

Mango woke up, and it was a beautiful sunny day, but he didn't see colors, only grey, and in front of him was a RainWing, with a two necklaces, golden, and silver, with lime green covering the whole of its body, but Mango wouldn't know cuz gray. (A RainWing's base color is lime green, so after he died he became lime green.) Mango looked into its lifeless eyes, and then he realized, "It's me." (*cough cough obscure reference*) "Oh no, what am I going to do!?!?" Mango said to himself, panicking. He ran back to area of the rainforest where the NightWings lived, and he then flew up to his aunt's pavilion. Glory was in there, talking to her daughter, Firefly, and he scittered inside. "Aunt Glory, help!" he yelped, but Glory and Firefly talked away, as if he didn't exist. "Oh no! No one can see or hear me!" Mango said to himself. He jumped back, rattling a shelf with a potted plant, which made the plant fall off and the pot break. "What was that?" Glory SCRUTINIZED, (i used that word wrong too) "There's no one here but you and I." (Mango now has athazagoraphobia because of character development?) Mango PONDERED his PREDICAMENT. "Waaaiiit. This means I can trick Firefly into doing stuff for me!" Mango realized, incorrectly. "I'll leave, maybe I'll see who did that," Firefly said, walking out the door/entrance/exit, passing straight through Mango. Mango turned gray, because, like I mentioned, gray.

Chapter 5[]

Mango scittered towards a tree in Firefly's path. He scratched a message into the tree that said, Your cousin has been ignored for far too long, and it is time to pay him back. Firefly came upon it and sighed. "Mango!" Firefly yelled, "I'm not doing your chores for you!" "I really thought that would work," Mango... thought. (Like I said before, incorrectly.) After a while (3 hours) of eating fruits and sleeping to help him think, he decided it was time to face the thing.

Chapter 6[]

He came back to the spot where he had died and the thing was there, staring eerily at him. "Yo *crackle* ime ha *static* ome," the thing screeched. It ripped a shard of bark out of a nearby tree and threw it at Mango. Mango braced himself, but the shard went straight through him. "Well," Mango said, "That was anticlimactic." Mango charged forward and he went straight through the thing (he actually touched it) and it erupted into pieces. "Very anticlimactic."

Chapter 0/Epilogue[]

He picked up the pieces of the thing traveled to the coast and threw them into the ocean. He went back to his body, ripped off the necklaces and he suddenly woke up in bed/hammock/platform/place the next morning, with his necklaces by his bed/hammock/platform/place-side. "Oh, good," he said to himself again, "It was just a dream." He went to his parents for another breakfast and more uninteresting stuff.
