I learned that I was stuck from Pison. He told me that there was an outside world. It's my mission to go there now. I need to stretch my wings. I need to feel the breeze against my wings. I think that will make me feel alive for once, and it beats being stuck inside this thrice-cursed torture chamber.

7619-X has a draconian build, keeping the SilkWing legs, tail, head, neck, and torso. However, instead of SilkWing horns and spines, she had a sailfish sail running down her back until it tapers off at her tail. Her wings are shaped similarly to that of a peregrine falcon's, with soft feathers making them up. Her scales are similar to that of a fish's. She looks like a mottled mess between sea creature and flying animal, a terrifying mixture. Her talons are that of a falcon's, sharp as needles.

Although she mostly takes her fighting nature from the Africanized bee, you can see a few faint hints of black along her scales. 7619-X has deep brown eyes with flecks of cerulean, and her scales are a pale sea glass blue color. Her topscales are a soft white that seems to almost blend with her pale blue color. Her sail is light blue at the base and fades to deep midnight blue at the tip. Her wings are the pale blue of her mainscales, with small flecks of tawny. Her underbelly is light pink under her chin and slowly fades to white at the tip of her tail.

Her voice is at an average pitch with a soft volume. She has a tall and lanky build, but she carries herself with a slightly submissive demeanor, that of a wolf kicked one too many times. If you get too close to her, she often bares her teeth and snarls like the aforementioned animal. She is dangerous; proceed with caution if she does not know you well.

I hate it here. I swear that if someone asks me one more time if I'm doing okay, I will bite their head off and stick it on a spike for all to see. I do not care if I get in trouble and can't go to those false habitats. I want the real world, anyways; those are just a temporary solution. And you know what else I want? I want those scientists to leave me the heck alone.

7619-X is normally downcast and quiet, and she has been known to avoid scientists' questioning and talking to others in general. Instead, she opts to quietly resign herself to wandering the halls listlessly. She longs for an outside world that she has never been allowed to live in, and that she will never be allowed to live in as long as she is with the Phoenix Project. She wishes for freedom and dreams of running through sun-dappled fields. This is fitting, as the only time she ever feels free is going fast. she doesn't care if it's flight, on foot, or swimming; she loves seeing the things fly by ever faster, loves hearing the whoosh in her ears as she accelerates.

Because she is never allowed to see the outside world except for in dreams, she has fallen into a sort of depression. She will not do anything voluntarily unless it involves the habitats, and she keeps strange hours, often getting very little sleep at night. While she is awake, she carves drawing after drawing of all manner of biomes into the concrete walls penning her into her room. She will not answer to anyone except for her handler, Pison, and she particularly dislikes the other scientists. In fact, if one of them comes within two feet of her, she will snap and growl at them like a feral animal. This also explains why she dislikes eating: she thinks that it is playing into their hand if she remains healthy, so she tries to eat as little as possible. However, she often doesn't want to get Pison in trouble, and so she eats enough to stay alive so that he will still have a job.

She isn't an amazing fighter- although she can hold her own in combat- but her technique is worth mentioning because she fights like a kamikaze pilot, becoming violent when someone poses a threat to her and fighting until she goes down. This is not her own fighting style, but the one that she inherited from the Africanized bee, and so she is quite the formidable opponent. While she will fight tooth and nail for whatever she wants, this can make her reckless and sloppy, thus providing easy opportunity to best her. She needs more training in these areas.

While she is mostly solitary, she is vibrant around her- admittedly very few- friends. She is silent, completely silent, around new dragons, mostly because she isn't sure what they're going to do, and she is testy and has trust issues. She often waits to get to know most dragons before she decides how to act around them (either hostile, friendly, or tolerant). She is not a good enemy to have, but even dragons she likes can find her hard to build a friendship with as she doesn't often show her emotions very well. She has been called cold hearted because she doesn't easily shed tears, but she simply has a stony shell, as well as a fear of divulging to much information. She is often assertive to many dragons, but when she meets someone she likes, she will often show off a humorous, playful side that nearly no one gets to see.

And, if all else fails, you can always get her into a good mood by challenging her to a race. She is incredibly competitive.

At her core, 7619-X is a dreamy dragoness with big hopes and no way of making them come true.

history

Log Entry 010

I often wonder about my parents. Were they as screwed up, as ugly as I am? Did they love me, or at least the idea of having me? I doubt it, because then I wouldn't have ended up in this moons-blasted sterilized bunker full of idiots and monstrosities. Maybe I wouldn't have even been a monstrosity. I could have been normal, like the scientists.

The young SilkWing came knocking on the door of the project with an egg in swirls of blue and pink like the gentlest of waves. Her eyes were wide with fear and apprehension, and as she told them her name and that she wanted to give them her unborn dragonet in exchange for payment, her talons shook noticeably. The scientist carefully removed her offering to a nest for fear of her dropping the egg.

They needed a purebred SilkWing. It was one of the few things that they did not have, and so she is in luck. Her talons stopped shaking when they told her that she would be well-compensated, so long as she could provide documentation that the egg was indeed hers and a SilkWing. She gave them a slim piece of paper with signatures, and they nodded and said they would take good care of her unborn child.

What she didn't say is that she did not care how they treated the dragonet, just that they got it out of her sight and out of her mind. Not a day went by that she didn't regret taking Pandorus as her mate, and she could not look at the egg without being reminded of the mistake. She thought turning her child over to experimentation was better than being forced to raise a family with her wretched partner.

...

When the dragonet hatches a few months later, they are surprised at how mottled she looks. Truly, she is a monstrosity. However, her aerodynamic wings and stinger seem to be worth the trouble. She is given the name of Saturniidae to add a sense of normalcy, but she is never referred to by it. Instead, she is called by number, and number only, like something less than dragon. It makes her feel out of place.

They put her into the savanna biome, much like the one that the SilkWings lived in with their HiveWing masters. However, one can see that she is tired of it, as she constantly paces, looking longingly at the greener areas with rivers cutting through them. To appease her, she is taken to the forest biome with the LeafWings, where she spends her time in the clearings illuminated by artificial sunlight.

No matter how much effort they put into making it real, it will always be an imitation to her. But the beauty of even a false landscape gives her enough joy that she appreciates it.

Later, when she is moved to her concrete-walled cell, she pines for her old home as well as the place she never knew, the sun-dappled fields and cool rivers that she might never know. She often voices her complaints, but they fall on deaf ears, so eventually, she stops trying.

The scientists think it is the animal within her that makes her feel this way. They often wonder if they altered her genetic code too much.

I only truly enjoy the company of one dragon here besides myself. Pison is the only one of those wretched scientists that cares about me, that understands me. And yes, I know that they are reading this. And no, I do not care.

Pison

very positive

Pison is 7619-X's handler, as well as her only friend. He is like a father to her, and he humors her in nearly all things. He is very kind and genial towards her, and he seems to understand her. He knows her better than any other existing dragon, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She loves him dearly. He is the only dragon she will take orders from, most likely because she couldn't stand to see him get in trouble.

Ever since I could speak, I have been forced to write these entries, but today is the first day I am making this request. I would like some gaudy jewelry to wear around the base so that I can distract dragons from my feathers.
