Its been a while since the Dragonets of Destiny have been important, but they still do a lot of work... such as arranging parties of ambassadors to send to Pyrrhia.
This takes place about maybe 5-10 years or more after the events of the series as a whole, but I, as of writing this, haven't read past book 9.
It also takes place in the Tontaverse, but does not properly follow the timeline. It takes place around 5013-5020 AS.

Changes from canon that I know of:
- Silkwing biology has been changed. Some dragonets metamorphose early, but its also based on genetics and where they grow up. For example, Webvale Village dragonets can metamorphose at around 3-4 years old, but it may still vary.
- Some tribes have traits added that are also genetic. For example, and this headcanon was brought up by Atomic Ahren here and by Dragon Cat114 here, dragons such as Icewings and Silkwings may have fur on their bodies, like most icy animals do and like how most moths and butterflies do.
- Jade Mountain Academy is more based on an actual school but is more loose. This is done through the addition of the terms, which are based on school terms. The terms last 2 and a half years each, but dragons of any age can join the school and stay for however long they want. However, you can't join as a term 2 student, you have to go through term 1 first. I also added a senior leadership team.
This counts as a fanon fanfiction, but this is part of the Tontaverse. It could probably still happen in canon, but the only canon characters are the Dragonets of Destiny, and I'm using a lot of non-canon information. Still, stays pretty true to the books as far as I can tell, since the Tontaverse is similar enough to canon.
