(E) BeetleGrub is an adult male HiveWing-BeetleWing hybrid who formerly resided in Vinegaroon Hive. He is a runaway fugitive from Queen Wasp, after supposedly (and accidentally) killing Lady Ladybug in a ballroom at Jewel Hive[8][5]. He resides in Jewel Hive, severely depressed[3] and having to cover all remaining evidence of himself.
Description[]
BeetleGrub looks exactly like a regular BeetleWing, with the only resemblance of a BeetleWing being his antennae and unusual colors. He is wiry and thin, a very dark brown head and horns along with antennae, and his body is a mostly slight light yellow color, getting darker till the tip of his tail. He wears 2 black latex gloves, since touching anyone will melt them immediately. His ribs are peering out of his chest, and was described as a "constantly moping blobfish".
Personality[]
He is kind, yet his personality doesnt change much. He is a pacifist and a peacemonger, with a sour attitude if someone speaks badly about him or his mother. He is slightly stubborn and only willing to follow orders if the orders themselves are good deeds or related to goodness. He often bows and scrapes around tirelessly, and refers to himself as "Centipede" to change his identity as a fugitive.

Antlion (Slight E warning)[]
Beetlegrub is caring towards his mother, who had found his father in a secretive cave. He winces whenever someone mentions her in a bad way, and will do anything to defend her from outside dangers of any type. His mother told him, that, she named him this due to his odd appearance, resembling a beetle's larva, or a grub. Yet, sometimes they baffle[2], and he always often argues about his father's true identity, and why he is like this[2].
Currently, he doesnt know the exact whereabouts of his mother, but he heard it could possibly be Bloodworm Hive. Everyday, he attempts to fly towards Bloodworm Hive secretly, but always gets denied access by guards. He wishes for one day to see her again, and that he never fought with her. He is unsure whether or not he has more siblings than Mosquito and Vespid. He appears to be clinging onto Antlion, as she is the only family he currently has. (possible [2])
Farpairla (Curiosity) (Slight E warning)[]
Beetlegrub had never met his father, ever. The only time he remembered was when he had hatched. He didnt know what his father looked like or sounded like at all, since that memory was so vague. Yet, he remembered he was whisked away by guards, as his mother was crying, and he never saw him again[2]. Beetlegrub gets rough whenever his mother mentions his father's name, or even refers to him. He believed he didnt really want to see his dad, just know more about him.
His mother describes Farpairla as fighting oftentimes[2], bitter-sweet, and that BeetleGrub didnt need to know more about him to not feel bad that he was probably dead[5].
Vespid (Extreme E)[]

Similar to Palm and Prickle, BeetleGrub and Vespid had a rocky bond. They often hated eachother, and were polar opposites. Vespid was almost always snarling and harming Mosquito in some way[2], while BeetleGrub was protective of Mosquito, his little sister, and always warm-hearted and kind. After his capture, Vespid almost always screamed and roared at the top of his lungs, and other times muttering about how he would kill BeetleGrub and Mosquito in their sleep and in the most gruesome way possible[5][1][8], like tearing their limbs off or disemboweling them[1]. He was given a Queen Wasp stuffing, made of dyed leather, and ripped her apart[8][1], pretending he was turning her brains to paste[1].
He dreams of Wasp Hive burning from top to bottom. After 2 years, he was publicly executed by Queen Wasp.

- Beetlegrub is deathly afraid of arachnids[4].
- He knows about this, due to having a meltdown infront of a shop that had sold roasted spiders in Vinegaroon Hive[4].
- He has a romantic interest, Tiger, and plans to be an assassin with her.
- His brother, Vespid, was mistaken for him and taken by Queen Wasp. Vespid was executed 2 years after his false capture[8][5].
- This is because he wore clothes and garments that not only matched Vespid's, but also because they made him look like his brother.
- His favorite snacks are gazelle steak and starfruit.
- He despises Queen Wasp, and had attempted to assassinate her[8], but failed, barely escaping.
