" I Swear, I Can Still Feel Her Haunting Me
Disappointed With Who I Turned Out To Be
Up In My Conscience, It's Making Me Nauseous
Did I Bury The Best Parts Of Me In That Coffin? "
This Character is a part of the Stormyverse.
APPEARANCE[]
Pitch black scales cover her body; like a night with no moon and no stars. She has a rare condition called 'icescales' that caused random patches of white scales to appear on her that only get larger the older she gets (similar to real-world vitiligo). Many believed she was a IceWing / NightWing hybrid, and they were ostracized by the other NightWings until it began to read minds.
Startling green eyes; they glow in the dark like a cat's.
A large silver scale by their right eye denotes its mind-reading powers; no-one knows why she doesn't have one by her left eye. Her mind-reading skills appear unaffected by this.
Bone-white horns, claws, and spikes further alienate her from the common NightWing.
A long scar runs down her back, revealing her pure white flesh. As it healed, it remained white; no-one knows why it's that color; perhaps something to do with her icescales?
She wears one gold horn ring on her left horn; it has the crest of the Sky Kingdom on it, but she’s never served the Sky Kingdom. Strange.
" So Now I'm Taking The Guilty Plea
Crime Of Passion, It's Just How It Had To Be
Please, Is This How You Grieve?
I Sleep In That Hearse To Remind Me Of Me "
PERSONALITY[]
On first look, Jinx appears to be your average villain; evil, cunning, intelligent, all the other words that describe a villain. She’s aggressive and cruel to a point, and easily bored. If you can’t entertain them, you’ll likely end up six feet under. Nothing personal.
If you can get past the aggressiveness and violent tendencies, Jinx is a hollow shell of a dragon; cold and dangerous to defend herself, not to be villainous. Her heart has been ripped out, replaced only by raw anger and spikes.
She wasn’t always like this, of course. Before the incident, it was a cheerful dragonet; warm and loving to anyone and anything. They didn’t care that no one wanted to be their friend because of her hauntingly alien colors; they would just keep trying, because one day, they would have to let her in to their hearts, right?
Then the incident happened, and the old Jinx….. well, let’s just say that the old Jinx was gone, replaced by a broken dragon; a shattered soul who would never be loving or warm to anyone again.
She’s never impulsive; they always think things through. Perhaps that’s how they haven’t ended up rotting in a dungeon somewhere with all the other villains.
She cares deeply for her family and her children of course; why would she adopt dragonets if she wasn’t going to love them? But, it’s hard for it to show their love properly; the last time they loved something that much, the incident happened. They could never truly love ever again. Instead of ‘traditional love’ a dragon would give, she gives gifts; every day, it seems, someone she cares for wakes up to a large present outside their bedroom door.
She has a lot of money; her family is rich. Her mother worked as head scientist at Coveside Labs, and her father, however terrible he was, came from a family of nobles. However, she could never say no to a bribe; what’s the harm in even more money? She always is willing to just give away large sums of money, just because she can. Money gives her power, and power keeps her safe.

History[]
Once upon a time, there was a family that lived on the mountain.
A mother, a father, and a daughter.
They lived fairly happily, until the father decided that he didn't want a daughter anymore. He wanted a son, someone who he could train to be a perfect assassin, since girls couldn't be great assassins, that's just not how it works. And he needed a boy to continue the family legacy.
So he sent her away to a school where she would learn how to be a perfect noble's daughter.
Safe to say, that didn't quite work. And when she came back, she was still not fitting in the mold he wanted her to be in.
So he tried to kill her, as one does.
But that didn't work, and that night, the mother snuck some sleeping pills into his whiskey, and dragged him down to the basement, and no one knows what happened to him after that. The mother was always a clever woman, so whatever she did to him, she was sure to leave no trace.
No one mentions it, and the mother trained her daughter to be an assassin.
And now, as the Shadow Queen of Assassins sits upon her thorny throne, she chuckles.
Girls can't be assassins, Father? Well, you were clearly wrong about that.
She doesn't collect treasure for a hoard, no, she collects dragons, dragons in need of a second chance with no other option. A MudWing running from his past, A SandWing punished for a crime he never committed, a SandWing warrior that gave up his rank to save his brother, a dragon that has no choice but to hide behind a mask, a RainWing haunted by guilt. Over the years, she had also collected children, heirs, you could say. A 'perfect' SkyWing, a mutated LeafWing shunned by the world, an IceWing fallen from grace, a circus performer "RainWing" hiding a secret even they didn't know. Oddities, just like her.
Doesn't revenge taste so sweet, Jinx?
